New day... New start- that's what people say, don't they but I don't think so.My new day is just like the previous one.........tensed.
No one knows when I'll get a new, decent job that pays me well.
I just hope soon cause the time to pay rent is coming and I don't have any money to pay.
As usual I wake up Noah.
"Hey Noah, get up. It's time for you to get up and go to school"
"Just a minute, Isla"
"Noah please, I don't have time for this today. I've to go hunting for a job. Please get up." With that Noah got up in a minute and rushed to the bathroom to get ready.
While he was getting ready I made his breakfast and lunch for the day.
While cooking my thoughts again wandered towards the the topic I was dreading. JOB
I've never felt so pressurized in my life. Even if I did, Isaac was always there to calm me down but this time.....
Oh Isaac!! How bad I miss him.
And then right on queue my phone rang and no guesses it was Isaac.
"Hey Isaac"
"Hey Isla, so how are he preparations for the job hunting going on?" Isaac asked,
"I'm a nervous wreck right now so that's the preparation." And that was my reply to the most obvious question.
"Hey, don't be so hard on yourself. Take it easy. You are an awesome person and for sure will get a job." He consoled me like the elder brother he was.
"Hope for the best" I sighed.
"Why do we always hope for the best and still expect the worse??"
"Cause" That was the only reply I could muster up.
I mean how do you reply to this.
He's such a good distraction. He almost distracted me from the nervousness.
Keyword here being "ALMOST".
But today nothing could have distracted me from the topic.
"Isla.Isla" Isaac called my name to bring me out of the trance.
"Yeah yeah, I'm right here."
"Did you listen to anything I said?"
"...uhm.....well sort of."
"Isla" I heard him sigh. "There's nothing for you to be so nervous for. It's just a job."
"Ya, I know. It's just that......I want a job as soon as possible with the end of the month approaching and all." This makes me feel so helpless.
"You will get a job soon. I know you. You are my sister."
"Ya sure." I sighed
