There I was riding on his shoulder staying hidden. I was going to school!! I was so excited!!
Tony's Perspective

I had kinda forgot that Keira was on my shoulder but that was good because I could be myself. I walked to my locker and saw Crystal at the locker next to mine like normal. I have a huge crush on her but I try to play it cool.
"Stop staring!! The whole world can tell you like her!!" Keira whispered in my ear. I looked away and back to my locker.
I put my book bag in and took out a pencil pouch, a binder, two notebooks, and a folder. I put my sweatshirt in my locker and just shut it when I felt a hand grip the back of my shirt. As I was turning around I got pulled back. It was Kyle. He bullied me and none of these teachers noticed and the rest of the kids feared him and said nothing. I slid across the floor and hit the wall. He tried to take my stuff but then a kind voice from Crystal said "Kyle please stop! It's his stuff and you shouldn't be doing this!!" She took my stuff and gave it to me and helped me up.
"Why do you care Crystal?? What are you his girlfriend or something?!?!?" Kyle responded.
"Maybe I am!" These words shocked me but I state chill.
"Oh then you must be willing to take the hit I was saving for him!" He ran at her from down the hall with his fists ready. I leaped out in front of her and took the hard couple hits. Again I forgot about Keira and she ended up getting a pretty bad hit for her size. I got up and put her in my locker still hurting from the hits. I looked around and whispered to Keira "you have to stay in here. I will get you at the end of the day. You got hurt once I can let you get hurt again."
I waited for an ok or something but all she did was jump on my hand and said "but I can help you stand up for yourself and get friends." I put her on my shoulder seen as she was stubborn and she could "help me".
I shut my locker and saw Crystal. "Hey thanks for takin the hit for me! That was really nice and brave."
"Tony repeat after me. Well you shouldn't be thanking me. I should be thanking you for getting my stuff back and standing up for me. That was braver than what I did and I really admire that!" I repeated it with a one word delay.
Crystal smiled and said "Really? Thanks! Want to hang out in the courtyard for lunch today?"
I had this one on my own but the last thing I said was a big favor that Keira did. "Yea. I would like that."
"Great well I have to get to my class but see you then!" I was so happy!
"What did I tell you!!" Keira said teasingly. "You can say thank you now!!"
No one was around so I put her on my hand and I did thank her and told her to stop teasing me. I continued on to class looking forward to lunch. Classes flew by and I walked to lunch proudly with Keira still on my shoulder whispering things every now and then.
I grabbed my lunch from my locker and headed to the cafeteria to get a snack and then to the peaceful courtyard. I waited for Crystal to come. I waited for a good 10min but then went to the cafeteria to see if she forgot or something. I walked in an saw her sitting at her normal table except someone else was sitting with her.
