         A YOUNG BOY'S COURAGE

Refrain:

In the heart of the glorious nature

remained hidden an unspoken tale

a young courageous boy

trying everything not to let himself fail

His childhood was lost

his world was gross

tired of being turned down

he decided to let himself the river cross

He packed up and left with a heavy heart

crossing river next chilly morning

he started his life afresh

went out in search of a job for earning

Refrain

An old couple took him in

he worked himself to sleep, saving every penny

he had a motive,had a goal

to save enough to get free his sister jenny

( IV )

He was far too young, far too naive

when his parents died

the landlords forced death upon them

while he and his sister his themselves and cried

Refrain

( V )

The cruel people found them somehow

took his sister away and forced her into slavery

he refused to cry & took a pledge

to get his sister out of shackles of slavery

( VI )

He grew up,saved enough

He indulged himself into 2 dead end jobs

determined, goal driven he worked

and worked,no one ever saw him again with sobs

Refrain

( VII )

He is a grown man

he is successful

he gained popularity & influence

without being doubtful

( VIII )

Now is the time

now is the moment

he thought on his own

to get what was his sole achievement

Refrain

( IX )

He  exposed the slavemaster

and freed the slaves

the officials arrested the culprits

he got back his sister & showed how much he was brave

( X )

The revolt against slavery was started

the culprits across the globe were caught

everyone who turned him down as a child

appreciated & respected him for the fight he fought
