Partners (Karma Akabane X Reader)

Chapter six

The next day I went a little late to school. I didn't wanted to start the morning hearing him excuses if he has one.

~On the day before.~

- "K-Karma!" - Okuda said - "I d-didn't know s-she was here!"
- "She must have misunderstood our conversation." - Karma replied. - "I should go after her to tell her the truth."
- "Y-yes! I'm s-sorry!"

Karma run after you but, at one point, he lost you.

I entered the classroom and everyone was looking at me. I was with a killer look on my face and my boby seemed that could fly while I went to my desk.
It seems like I don't care about anything anymore.

- "What happened to her?" - Rio asked Kaede.
- "We should talk to her after this class." - Kaede replied.

"Was it Karma?" - Nagisa thought since he was between both girls.

- "Seems like you finally woke up from that sweet pink dream." - Terasaka said to me.

I didn't even bothered to answer him, and my right eyes could see that Karma was focused on me.

At the middle of the class Karma whispered my name.

- "(Y/n)?" - he called.
I look at him slowly moving my head to face him.

- "What do you want Akabane?" - I replied.
- "I need to talk with you."
- "Ehh? Already have an excuse?" - I said while smiling.
- "Can it be at lunch time?"
- "Whatever." - I replied.

At the end of first time, Rio and Kaede came to talk with me on the playground.

- "(Y/n)! Wait!" - Said Kaede.

- "What happened (Y/n)?" - Rio went in front of me and pulled her arms on my shoulders.
- "You know what happened Rio!" - Tears started to fall from my eyes.
- "Was it Karma?" - Kaede said.
- "Of c--" - I got interrupted while talking.

- "(Y-Y/n)!" - Okuda appeared from behind us three and called for me.

- "What do you want?!" - I replied without turning my body to face her.
- "A-about yesterday..."
- "Should I congratulate you?" - I replied with sarcasm.
- "YESTERDAY?!?" - Rio and Kaede asked at the same time turning around to Okuda.

- "I-it is n-nothing like t-that!" - she continued.
- "Uhh?" - I got confused.
- "I-I was talking with K-karma be-because he--" - And as I turned back to see what was the reason, Karma putted his hand on Okuda mouth making her shouted.
- "You!" - I said to Karma.

Then he grabbed my arm and started walking me to the mountain.
