An old lady sits in her rocking chair of a retirement home. She is reading an old newspaper, dating from seventy years ago.

The headline reads, "Teenager Claims She Went to Hell: Delusional?"

She holds on tightly to the paper, a tear escaping her eye, running down her wrinkly face. She knows what she saw is real, and she never forgot about Colin West.

Clutching the paper, she gives her last dying breath. A nurse enters the room and sees the woman sitting motionless, almost peaceful, in her chair.

A well dressed woman comes in with a clipboard and asks the nurse the name of the deceased before them.

She answers, "Haley Bright, but we all knew her as Mandy."

Mandy's eyes open again, and what she sees before her is familiar, but completely different at the same time.

It is is filled with light. The dead world tuned to a world of peace where people could get a third chance and enter the gates to eternal peace in paradise.

Mandy walks up to the gate and and stares with awe. There is a plaque that reads:

"The Living Afterlife: Where third chances are given. Founder: Colin West"

Mandy starts crying and then the doors creak open. She walks in slowly and there stands the boy she fell in love with.

They embrace, Mandy cries with joy, and they hold hands. She looks down at their locked hands and sees her wrinkles fade away. She is young again.

In a distant cloud stands Margaret Pudge, Charlotte, and Colin's sister Annie, mother, and father.

Seventy years ago, Colin West was tasked to eliminate Haley Bright from the chess board of Earth, but he fell in love with her instead, and gave up his life for her.

Mandy and Colin walk hand in hand toward the extravagant castle in the clouds far away in the distance, with rays of white inviting light shining behind it.

They walk toward their beginning.
