If happiness is like getting a bottle of water drop in front of you while you're in the middle of a barren desert then to say I'm happy would be a complete understatement.

I haven't seen the first man to love me without a doubt in forever. I missed him. I missed his eyes, love, smile and laughter that lifts the mood. His food that brings comfort and his hugs to make me feel better. I miss his morning kiss that would make my day despite the unforeseen events. His whole self, my father.

Throughout the weekend I had the best bonding sessions with my papa. We didn't go out except to buy groceries. We'd make breakfast together, clean up together. Watch movies and then he'd help me out with schoolwork and the brainstorming of my community service project. We'd get lazy to make dinner and end up deciding to order pizza along with cookies and soda cans. I'd fall asleep on the couch and wake up sleeping next to my dad.

To say I wasn't tired and not ready to go to school would be lie. I was beyond all of that.

I skipped the bus ride and rode with my dad in his new car that i can't stop to admire since Friday. The ride to school felt different. It was exceptional. Having a parent is exceptional. My dad headed to the parking lot and parked is car there. I got out and took my bag along with me. My dad came along to address the cafeteria service fees and the premium locker fees. My dad wanted to me to be comfortable in this school and have it normal just like any other enrolled student here but what he couldn't change was my social aspect here.

I walked him to the office and administration wing to avoid giving endless directions and him being lost. I kissed him goodbye on his cheek and ran for the door before i got late for class, what i was clueless about is the person that collided with me and my papers flying out of my personal folder. I looked down at the mess and looked up to the equally responsible person for this collation. I couldn't take my eyes off him, not because i was mesmerized but I couldn't understand why my fate always makes me meet him at some point of the day.

I finally got the drive to pick up my papers and put them back in my folder, I saw I pair of hands handing me a couple more of my papers. I said a quick thanks and ran for English class.

Unprepared public speaking or speech were dated for today. I expected half of the class to be faking illnesses or not being present at all but after opening the door and seeing everyone seated and all eyes staring at me. I apologized softly for being a few minutes late and took my seat.

The English teacher gave us a theme for our speeches and decided now that it'll be a prepared one and we're given two days to prepare and deliver. I was struggling to put a thought on the My identity theme. I seriously did not know how I will go about tackling this one.

After writing down a quarter of my speech it was time for the next period. It was nothing major since we're going for homeroom. I sat at the back next to the window. I waited for the rest of class to arrive. My homeroom teacher started with roll call and told us there's a storm coming up so everyone should head to the cafeteria for lunch.

I got my cafeteria pass card at the office. I stood in line and luckily I was 5th. As I got closer to the front I became skeptical to get everything on my plate because why not.

I got myself a tuna sandwich along with juice and an apple. I sat at a table that is situated at the back of the cafeteria which I'm happy about.

I ate my lunch within 20 minutes. I got up to freshen up at the restrooms before class. I got in one of the stalls to do my business. I got out and took my personal handwash of cinnamon and honey and used it instead of the one the school supplied. I used my hand sanitizer and gave myself one more glance over. I grabbed my bookbag from the ground and as soon as I got up my back collided with someone. I quickly said sorry and when I turned my back it was one of the quiet girls in my English class.

"Hey." , she greeted. I said it back and we talked for a few minutes until she looked at me funny. "You're always alone, why?" , she finally spoke up. I shrugged my shoulders and she found that as an opportunity to invite me to her hangouts. We exchanged numbers and headed to the next class.

The next classes went by quick and now I was in my dad's car heading to McDonald's to grab lunch like we used to when he was still around with mama.

After eating and having Mcflurry we went to do groceries for this week.

My dad and I listened to D'angelo and sang along to all songs. He actually surprised me because he never wanted me to listen to him because it was for "grown people. "

Camryn sat her desk doing homework while listening to music. It was only 6pm and her dad was preparing dinner like he used to.

Camryn's phone went off to signal a message. She opened it, it was Jasmine, the girl she exchanged numbers with in the restroom. She sent a text inviting Camryn to go eat at some restaurant with her friends but Cam declined considering it'll be rude to her father and besides she never went out after 6pm.
