.I fluttered my eyes open and i was tied up.i was not outside anymore i was in this strange thing that gave off cooling air,it was like a room, but most homes are not like this this is 1901.I opened my mouth to speak, but then the strange humans told me to listen and they will explain everything. The strange male human spoke "My name is Maxen and we are sorry we had to kidnap you,but the human race depended on it" "my name is America , let me explain what we say may be hard to believe but it is the truth,We are from the future ,2250 to be exact.In the future climate change is taking over the world,before you ask what is climate change it is a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels. Also we came to the past to do something important to save the earth and if anybody saw us we colude risk changing the future" "We know that you are very confused ,but we need to kill james hogg his great great great great great great great great great great great grandson is destroying the world.That is why we captured him" I don't know why ,but i believed them it was the only reasonable explanation . My life is boring and ordinary maybe this could change it. " James hogg told us that that he doesn't mind dying if it means saving others". What about lizzie johnson ? i asked . I saw her, is she coming to the future?
Maxen answered me " Women don't get many rights and opportunities in 1901 ,so she is coming with us to the future". I always thought women got plenty of rights ,but now i suddenly realized that they really don't get many rights,they don't get to vote ,they get paid less , and they are not allowed the same jobs. I new lots of women up north are campening ,but i never really realized the inequality until now . Maxon and america got up ,and james hogg came forward ,they gave him a red greenish pill ,they were tearing up , but james said " stop crying, it is not that big of a deal dying is not that bad". I squeezed my eyes shut i did not want to see it.After it was over with ,they asked me., the mysterious cowboy ( that i later learned that his name is albus ) and charlus good night a question . " We thank you so much for handling this calmly i know this is a lot for you to process. We can't keep you in this time because it will trigger the domino effect ,and could have serious consequences , you guys can come to the future with us ,and start a new life or you can pick a time period that you were not alive in and will drop you of there".
