*Vics POV*
"Mike! Wake up!"
"What the fuck do you want"
It was 7am and I felt sick and Mike was pissed off but today is probably one of the most important days in my life.
"We need to go downtown for ring shopping hurry up!"
"Why do you want a ring??"
"MIKE!!"
"Fine!! Jesus christ"
About 15 minutes later we started up Jaimes van and started our hour drive downtown. Our grandfather left us $500,000 when he died to split between us. Mike had spent it all but I still have loads left. At least I will be spending it on something worthwhile. Mike was still grumpy by the time we got there but at least he wasn't being a dick.
"What do you think she'll like?"
"A simple one, not to much diamonds. Make sure it doesn't look tacky."
After what felt like forever I found the perfect ring.

I turned to look at him to find him staring with hatred at something. I followed his eyes and found the person my nightmares were made of. She was walking past with some friends when she caught my eye. She stopped and stared at the ring in my hand, screwed up her face and continued walking. I tried to push her from my thoughts and tried to focus of Y/N.
"You ok?"
"Yeah. Come on we need to buy this and get home then plan what I'm going to do."
On the drive home I imagined what would happen if she said yes. We would grow old together. Happy forever.
