"Good evening everyone, and let me begin by telling all of you how great it is to see that so many of you took out time from your busy schedule to celebrate with us here at Loveship. I would also like to say thank you to our sponsors, none of this would've been possible without you guys. Thank you and enjoy!" Jordan said with a smile addressing the party goers.

"Jordan?" A tall dark skin woman around my age asked as Jordan and I walked off stage.

"Erica? What- what are you doing here?" Jordan said lowly.

"Your assistant invited me and I just wanted to take up your offer. I'm really sorry for what I did to you before, I have no idea what I was thinking!" Erica said in a flirty tone.

"Well I think it's to last for that Erica. I-"

"He's engaged!" I said cutting him off.

Oh shit! What did I do.

"Oh! To who if you don't mind me asking?" She asked sizing me up.

"Me!" I wrapped both of my arms around his arm.

"Really? Jordan I never would've imagined that you would have stooped to low as to date the help."

"Excuse me? I'm his assistant not his maid!" I snapped back.

"Wow feisty! You do have a type Jordy."

"Don't call me that! How about you go and talk to that husband of yours." Jordan said not trying to cause a scene.

"Don't be like that Jordan, I was your first love remember?" She rubbed his arm.

I pulled him back. "Thanks to you, I'll be his last. Isn't that right, Jordy?"

"Of course, let's go. It's getting a little desperate over." Jordan said as we walked away. "You are a life saver, I really owe you one. And I'm sorry about earlier."

"You can explain yourself at our rehearsal dinner." I laughed.

"Haha, very funny. Did you invite anyone?" Jordan asked grabbing 2 glasses of champagne and handing me 1.

"Thank you, but no." I sipped from the glass. "I don't think Khalifa would have taken it while if I would asked him and Kia, yeah."

"What about your sister?"

I chuckled. "No, because she haven't done anything  beneficial for me but run me out of that house. Can you believe she had the nerve to pop up at my house ask to stay there and asked if I can get her a job. I'm gonna need more than just champagne dealing with her."

"Okay, you just said a mouthful."

"I just needed to get that off my chest. You should be doing the same Jordan. That's probably why your blowing up on everybody like that. You can talk to me."

"I guess."

"There's my favorite couple! Your brother would be so happy for you." His mother Tony said looking up at Jordan and back to me.

"You didn't tell me you had a brother, where is he?" I said poking Jordan's side.

Jordan and his parents looked at each and Jordan's father Joseph cleared his throat.

"Jacob is no longer with us."

I eyes grew bigger. "Oh, I'm sorry for you lost. I didn't know."

"It's okay, it's been 3 years since the accident." Tony looked at Jordan. "I'm just happy that Jordan has gotten out of that funk and finally realized that it wasn't-"

"That's enough mom, I don't think we should get into that right now. Not here." Jordan said cutting her off sharply.

She nodded her head. "So, when's the wedding? How did you guys meet? I want details."
