Ch.6|Trust

Bella follows Mark to the living room. They sat and watch the show cuddling.

After a few more episodes they both fell asleep together on the sofa. The next morning, Mark woke up feeling much better.

"Bella? Should we go on a date today?" Mark asked Bella while they're still cuddling on the sofa from last night. Bella nods her head and replies "Let's do it but I have to go back home and get ready first."

Mark kiss her shoulder and agrees. "Okay. I'll pick you at 11 then." Bella smiles and answers him "Okay. I'll get going then." She sits up and turn around to face Mark. She leans down to kiss his cheek then she grab all her belongings and left.

"Hopefully this goes well. I should go get ready now too." Mark said to himself as he got up.

At 11 Mark walk to Bella's door and knock. Bella opens the door smiling. "Oh. You're here." She said excitedly. "These are for you." He hands her a bouquet of flowers. She smiles widely and takes the flowers. "Awwh. Thank you. They're really pretty." She smells them and then put them in a empty vase at the dinner table.

She quickly came back to the front door and link arm with Mark. "Let's go!" Bella said smiling. Mark smiles and walk her to the car. He opens the door for Bella and she gets in. Then he start the car and drive to the place he wanted to take her. "Mark?" Bella calls out his name.

Mark glance at her and smile. "What?" He answers her. She look out the window and ask "Where are we going?" Mark grabs her hand and kisses it then he continues to hold it.

"I'll tell you when we get to our first destination." Mark said looking straight ahead. She nods her head and continues to look out of the window. "We're here." Mark said excitedly as they pull into the airport parking.

Bella look around and with a confused look on her face, she ask Mark "Mark, why are we at the airport? Where are we going." Mark turns to her and smiles. "We're going to Jeju Island!" Bella covers her mouth as she gasp.

"Oh my god! Are you serious?" Bella asked. Mark gets out and goes to open her door. "Come on baby. I'll introduce you to my private jet." Bella furrows her eyebrows "Private jet?!"

Mark laughs and holds her hand. "Yes. I brought my jet here so I can leave to anywhere whenever I want." Bella slowly nod her head. "Oh... I see."

Mark lead the way to the jet. When they reach the jet and set off, they both had some brunch. After a while the plane landed and they're finally in Jeju Island!

Mark look over to Bella and see that she's asleep. "Uhh Bella? We're here." Mark shakes Bella's shoulder to wake her up. She slowly open her eyes and look out the window. "Oh okay. I'm up."

Mark stare at her being drowsy and cute. He giggles a little and grab her wrist. "Come on cutie. Let's go have fun." Bella follow his lead out the plane.

"Okay. Where are we going to first?" Bella ask as she continues to follow Mark. He turns around and smile at her "Let's go see the beach first." Bella nods excitedly and they head towards the beach.

There were a lot of people and tourists at the beach, of course. So Mark had to were a black cap but that was fine with Bella.

"Mark, can we try some street food here?" Bella whines holding on to her stomach. "Fine. What do you want to eat?" Mark calmly ask her. She excitedly drags him to the nearby street food stands. "Ouu! I want these." She stated excitedly as she pointed at some pork.

"Okay. Go ahead and eat. I'll treat you this time." He replies to her with a wink. She starts eating away but something or should I say someone caught her attention.

She stopped eating and a tear roll down her cheek as she keeps staring at this one person in the distant. She felt her heart dropping. Mark touches her waist and she immediately snaps out of her daze.

She quickly wipe her tear and start eating again. "Mhmm it's so good. Want some?" She mumble as she stuff her face. Mark gently pat her back. "Eat slowly." She nodds her head slowly as she tries to slowly swallow the food in her mouth.

"Okay, I think I'm done now." Bella said wiping her mouth. Mark hands in the money to the old man behind the stand. "Thank you." The old man said with a low voice and Mark bows slightly with Bella.

"Let's go to the beach now." Bella runs holding hands with Mark. They both laugh and ran faster towards the ocean. Bella's feet were in the water and so was Mark's. "The water feels great." Mark asid to Bella as she jumps each time a wave came by. "Yes it does!" She lets go of Mark's hand and goes deeper in the ocean.

"Come back over here!" Mark shouts, standing at the shore. Bella looks back and laugh "Come get me!" She shouts back.

She looks at Mark and he had a frown on his face. "Okay. Stop sulking! I'm coming back." Bella runs up to Mark and gave him a hug. He smiles and stroke her hair. "I was just worried something bad might happen. So don't make me worry." She nods at what he said.

"Let's just walk along the beach, okay?" Mark suggested. Bella agrees "Okay." They start walking down the beach shore. Out of nowhere a guy bumps into Bella.

She looks back at the stranger and it was Dean. She was taken back. "Are you okay?" Mark rubs her shoulder. "Uhmm, I'm fine." She turns back to look at Mark.

Dean walked over to Bella and grabbed her hand. "Oh! It's you! It's been a while hasn't it? I'm sorry about bumping into you, it was my fault." Bella looks at her hand that Dean was holding and she gently pulled away. "It's fine." She said with no emotion.

Dean look over at Mark and questions Bella. "Bella? Who's this?" She looks over at Mark and was about to answer but Mark spoke up instead. "Hello. Nice to meet you. I'm Bella's fiancé, Mark Tuan and you are?" Mark spoke in a calm manner and held out his hand for a hand shake.

Dean shook his hand and respond "Yes. Nice to meet you. I'm Dean." Bella quickly grab on tightly to Mark's arm and tug him to move forward. "Bye Dean. We have to go now." After saying this Bella pulls Mark away.

They were next to a Tea shop when Mark stopped and asked "Who is this Dean guy?" He sound a bit pissed off. Bella bit her lower lip and look at Mark in the eyes. "Don't be mad, okay?" Mark nods his head.

Bella continues "Well when I was here about 9 months ago for my last military service...Uhmm... I met him and we kind of had a thing..." Mark look at Bella with his cold eyes once again and asked her "So you guys were dating?" Bella slowly nod her head.

She quickly clear up things for Mark. "But he did me wrong and I never talked to him until today. I don't have anymore feelings for him! Trust me!" Bella said quickly while fidgeting the fingers. Because of course it was a lie. She still had some feelings for Dean.

Mark smiles and kiss Bella. "Okay. I'm going to believe you then. Let's get going, I have more to show you." He held her hand and lead the way to the next destination. Bella felt bad and guilty for lying to Mark but she didn't want to ruin things between their new relationship.

She looks at Mark and thought to herself. "It'll be okay. I'm never going to meet Dean again anyways!"
