Four Years Later
Lucy's POV
I hurriedly throw clothes into my suitcase. "I'm gonna be late! I'm gonna be late! I'M GONNA BE LATE!" My voice raises slowly in volume until I'm shouting.

"Oi! Lucy! What's with the shouting? Whatta ya gunna be late fer?" My older brother, Gray, comes into the room in his boxers scratching the back of his head.

I rolled my eyes and started to calm down slightly. I continued to pack while I talked to him. "You know you need clothes to go to work right?"

I just got out of school for winter break. I'm 18 and a senior in high school. Gray's 20 now, he works random jobs wherever he can get them.

He was forced to drop out of high school shortly after Erza left  to earn enough money to pay the bills and to feed the both of us. He looks down at himself.
"Oh crap! I was dressed... how the heck does this even happen?"

He has this strange habit where he'll just strip his clothes out of no where.
"Also, since you seem to have forgotten, I'm spending winter break at my friend Juvia's house, I'll be back the day before school starts." I look seriously at him.
"Will you be okay on your own?"

He scoffs. "I'm not a child, Lucy! And I most certainly don't need my baby sister to take care of me!" He crosses his arms and huffs, like a child.

I snicker. "Oh please! I bet you'll show up to work every day in your boxers when I'm away!" He chuckles and gives me a quick hug.

"I'll miss ya sis. Take care, I'm headed off... just gotta find my clothes..." he walks away in search of his discarded uniform.
I quickly finish packing and and begin my walk to Juvia's.

Once I get to Juvia's house I ring her doorbell and stand on her doorstep waiting for her to answer the door. I hear muffled shouting inside.
Must be her brothers... her brothers Natsu and Jellal are fraternal twins and go to the same college.

Juvia's my best friend and the only person who knows about my family. Juvia's never told me what happened to her parents, she's too sensitive about that topic so I never pushed her.
Juvia also mentioned that Jellal's girlfriend from their college would be here too. The door opens but it's not Juvia who answers.

"Lucy?"
