Chapter 1: Chat With A Stranger

"Ohayoo!" I said sweetly.

[Translation: Goodmorning]

"Ohayoo! Mag sha-shopping ka?" Sabi ni Mama.

I nodded and smiled.

"Oh. Ito, pag ka-syahin mo nalang." Sabi ni Mama and handed me--

"HOLY SHIZU!" I screamed in surprise.

She gave me 40,000!

"Ma, I can't take this! Ang dami!" I said while shaking my head.

"Baby, I know you missed shopping. So go and take it." Mom smiled.

"Thanks, Ma!" I said and hugged her.

Kyaaaaaaaaah!

1 month na pala akong di nakakapag-shopping tapos School ko na bukas!

"Shoo ka na nga, baby! School mo na bukas!" Pabirong Sabi ni Mama.

"Thanks ulit, Ma!" I happily said and exited our house.

Hindi pa naman ako marunong mag drive so nag taxi na lang ako.

I handed my payment kay Kuya Driver and of course!

Shopping!! YIPEEEEE!!

Bili ng school supplies dito. Bili ng damit doon.

Napatigil nalang ako sa paghahanap ng mga damit ng bigla akong magutom.

I took out my phone and wow.

It's 3:44 in the afternoon na pala?

I'm holding 4 shopping bags.

It's enough naman na so pumunta ako sa labas ng store.

Nakita ko yung department store and iniwan ko sa guard dun yung mga pinamili ko.

Hihihi. Connections!

PUMUNTA na ako sa food court.

Waaaah! Wala nang pwesto!!

But would you look at that, may isa pang spare na sit sa harap nung isang guy.

Pinuntahan ko sya.

"Hello! Pwedeng umupo dito?" I said politely.

Bigla syang tumingin sakin.

*DUG DUG*

Omg!! Anyare sayo, little heart?

He just looked at me.

He's cute and handsome! Omg!

"Uhm.. Hello?? Kuyaaa? Are you there?" I said and I even waved my hand infront of his face.

He seemed to come back to his senses.

He just nodded and kept eating his food.

"Thank you, Kuya!" I happily smiled at him.

Bumili ako ng Spaghetti, Fries, Chicken with rice and Coke!

Nung nakita ni Kuya yung food ko, he stiffened.

He must have been surprised. Well, I get that a lot naman.

They say I'm sexy daw which I believe in them naman!

I eat like a pig kasi but di naman ako tumataba.

Kaya some peoples gets surprised kasi they don't know that I eat like a pig! Hihi!

"Seriously?" He managed to say.

Omggg! Even his voice is cool!

"Y-yup." Omg! Why was I stuttering??

I just ate.

But I couldn't eat properly kasi he was looking at me.

I could see him staring at me on my peripheral vision.

So I looked at him and said, "Please stop staring."

He's forehead creased and I even saw him blush a bit.

"Wag kang assuming. I wasn't looking at you anyways." He said.

"ABA! So ako yung assuming?! Nakita kita sa peripheral vision ko!!" I hissed.

"Spell peripheral?" He asked.

"P-H-E-R-I-P-H-E-R-A-L?" I was really unsure with my answer.

"Wrong!" He said.

"HOY! Tamang spelling yun!" I said.

"The correct spelling of peripheral is P-E-R-I-P-H-E-R-A-L." He said.

I blushed in embarrasment, "Edi Ikaw na!"

"Heh.." I could see him trying to stop his self from smiling.

"Hmp!" I pouted.

"Una na nga ako! Bye!" I said as I stood up.

"Bye." He said still trying to stop his self from smiling.

After turning my back on him, I smiled.

A chat with a stranger isn't so bad after all..
