I watched amazed as the pitch black screen dissolved into the pinks and oranges of the morning sky. With a low almost nonexistent hum, the screen changed bathing the space in a soft orange light.
I looked out the window at the backyard that consisted of a concrete lounge, pool and basketball court. But past all that was a beautiful garden.
Turning around to ask her about the garden I paused, staring around the now bright space. I say space because I doubt you could call it a room. On either side of the bed were doors that I assumed were a closet and bathroom.
I began to walk towards the other end of the room stopping at a single leather chair in the middle. In front of the chair against the window was a black table with 2 candles and a speaker dock to hook a phone to.
"Why is this here?" I asked running my hand over the smooth leather of the chair.
I turned to face Zane who shrugged.
"I like to sit here and think ...yanno, clear my mind." She answered looking down on me, making me realize how close we stood, and how tall she really was 6'0.
Taking a chance, I peeked up into her eyes. The ice blue and green heats me up, my breathing catches as I struggle not to get lost. I bite my lip to keep from making a sound to betray my emotion.
"Damn..." I say out loud.
This can't be right. I'm not attracted to women, I barely like men ! I don't eat pussy or submit to no dykes! But I can't deny those eyes or ignore the heat I feel between us as we stand so close . But lord knows I'll try.
"I know right." She replies starting back into my regular brown eyes. I shift under the weight of her stare and walk around her. I go past a desk with a computer, printer and other office like things.
Further down in the middle of the floor was a pool table, I ran my fingers over the green felt as I passed .
"You play?" Asked coming behind me but not as close this time.
"I have before but I'm not good." I giggle cause her laugh.
Past that close to the window was an art table with a stool underneath. It had a drawer for supplies and a portrait stand leaning against the glass, everything was clean.
"why do you have all this if you don't use it? " I ask once I'm finished going through her things.
"I just moved here, haven't had the chance, if you saw my desk at home you wouldn't mind this neatness." She chuckled.
I nodded. Moving forward I was finally at the end of the Space, closest to the glass was another table it was tall with a bar chairs pushed up to it. On the wall where cabinets and a mini fridge. Opposite of the window was a lounge area with three couches around a table facing a flat screen. I turned and took the whole thing in.
"this is absolutely too much." I frowned.
Za'nae smiled "so what's it gonna be? You gone keep me company this week? It's plenty more for you to see on the bottom floors."
I stayed quiet.Za'nae
"Please don't say no shawty," I said surprising myself with the sincerity in my voice . She peered at me curiously.
"I'm not exactly here on vacation, I like the city but it ain't My city, it would make this a lot more bareable. And I swear I won't do anything you don't ask for." I smirk
She rolls her eyes and smiles "I guess I could use a change of scenery... but you gotta take me to get my things."After showering I give shawty a tour of the house and promise to make it to the garage and backyard later. Although I offered her a change of clothes she insisted on waiting until she was home to shower. She gave me directions to her home and I dropped her off before going on to take care of business.
Let me get this over so I can spend some time with my shawty.
I smiled to myself on the way to the trap .
