One stormy Friday night twelve year old Hadi sat down at the table to eat supper. Her parents were almost finished cooking so she waited patiently. She was starving, it smelt so good. As she sat there waiting and waiting she kept getting more and more impatient.
Her stomach roared with hunger. Hadi groaned banged her fist against the table that exact moment lightening growled angry above their house. It made everyone jump with fear including Hadi.
Soon after rain began to pour onto the roof. Hadi didn't care about the weather, all she cared about was the food. Five minutes later the food was finally done, now it was time to eat. Everyone gathered around the table holding hands to say grace, at this point she was very irritated.
She wanted the food so bad. Once grace was over everyone especially Hadi began to dig in their plate. She quickly picked up her utensil grabbing a spoon full of rice and gravy ready to shove it in her mouth. She was sweating with excitement as she shoved it into her mouth.
Her eyes suddenly bolted after swallowing, just staring at her plate. "Hadi, whats the matter dear?" Her mother asked worried about her noticing the look upon her face. She looked up at her mother with disgust.
She roughly pushed her plate away and stormed into her room slamming the door behind her. Her mother and father both looked at each other concerned. The father continued eating as the mother just looked over at her little girls unfinished plate, she wondered to herself 'What could be the problem' but what she didn't know was the reason why Hadi left the table was because her food was to spicy.
