That afternoon the pups were playing outside in the garden Skye was sitting by herself under a tree while rocky zuma Marshall chase and rubble were  playing tag as for ryder he was back on his pup pad

" ok zuma your it " Marshall said
tapping zuma on the shoulder

" ugh he's on that thing again " chase said seeing ryder on his pup pad again paying no attention to his so called pups again but ryder was looking at pictures of him and chase the first time they met

" why are we growing apart " ryder whispered to himself looking at the pictures

" ryder what are you doing " Skye said behind him with a concerned look

" um checking the weather " ryder said trying to cover up the fact he was sad about his and chases fight

" you know ryder your really smart but I know when something wrong or someone's lieing to me " Skye said she was pretty sneaky it's a one of the unique things about Skye

" um it's just do you think me and chase are growing apart " ryder said looking down with a sad face

" Maybe I'm a terrible owner " ryder said looking at all the pups playing

" no ryder your the best owner ever you do so much for us all the time you help us when you can you gave us a home love and friendship chase was your first pup I don't see any reason to hate you ryder because your 10 years old and you can handle 6 pups teenagers can't even handle one pup " Skye said licking ryder's face witch made him smile

" thanks Skye " ryder said

" I'll talk to chase " Skye said walking away over to chase

Skye sits next to chase

" hey chase can we talk " Skye said using her adorable eyes to win him over

" um sure " chase said a bit nervous he always was when it came to talking to Skye or girls

" why are you being crule to ryder " Skye said looking straight at chase

" what are you talking about oh you mean the zuma thing well I'm stronger than zuma and ryder was saying I was weak and couldn't keep up I just never got enough sleep last night that's all

" but you should stop being made at ryder is there another reason your being so down on him chase " Skye said she could read most people but chase was a challenge

" it's just nothing ok " chase said

" your so heartless chase "  Skye said nearly crying her eyes out

" how because my owner doesn't support me " chase said fighting back

" he loves us he cares for us if it weren't for ryder we'd never have a home " Skye said shouting

" would you just leave me alone " chase said seeing ryder coming over

" you know what chase I  HATE YOU YOU HORRIBLE AND SELFISH " Skye said slapping chase right across the face

" SKYE ENOUGH " ryder said looking at her with a mad face
