~Flashback~

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)!" Ivan called out to his bestfriend, and secret crush. (Y/n) was sitting on the spot where she and Ivan always met up.

She looked up from the sound of her name being called by a voice that's very familiar. "Ivan!" Ivan slowed down from running to walking as he neared the (H/c) haired girl.

"Privet, (Y/n)." Ivan greeted with a soft smile, to which (Y/n) returned, "Privet, Ivan. Why are you late? Did something happen?" The girl asked her Russian friend as he sat down next to her gazing at the vast flower fields before them.

He exhaled and started explaining, "W-well...my parents..." He started, (Y/n) looked confused as to why he cut his sentence short. (Like Levi-)

"Ivan?" (Y/n) was beggining to worry for her bestfriend. 'Maybe he doesn't want to be friends anymore?' She thought. She then bursted into tears; thinking that was the reason.
Ivan was baffled and shocked.

He immediately hugged the trembling girl, whispering, reasurring and sweet words into her ear. (Y/n) eventually calmed down. "Sunflower, what's wrong?" Ivan asked.
(Y/n) could only sniff up air as she wiped her tears away. She looked at him with red and teary eyes. For Ivan, that look alone was already slowly breaking his ice cold heart.

"Y-you d-don't want t-to be my f-friend anymore, right?" She looked at Ivan sadly. "W-what?! Nyet! Why would I do that?!" 'So this is why...' Ivan thought.

"W-well y-yo-" "I stopped explaining and you thought I was gonna say 'I don't want to be your friend anymore'?" Ivan finished for her, as she nodded. "I was gonna tell you that.... my parents decided that we should go back....to Russia." He explained while waiting for (Y/n)'s reaction.

All that heared was an, "Oh..." After that, nothing.
"Y-you're g-going b-back to Russia?" (Y/n) asked. Tears was threatening to fall as (Y/n) was trying hard not to cry again. Then she asked again, "Y-you're gonna l-leave m-me here?" Ivan sighed sadly, as he looked at her and engulfed her into a tight hug. "Дa."

A moment of silence was upon them again. No words were said between the two.

"I'm sorry...But I promise, I'll come back for you. Never forget that. Okay, Sunflower?"
"Okay.."

(Y/n) woke with a jolt. She had not forgotten what he said. He said he'll try to come back. But for years, (Y/n) was beginning to think Ivan forgot about her(Like Canad- *Shot*)
It saddened her when he left and it still does.

Ivan was laying in bed; thinking about (Y/n). He still-and never will- forget her. She's one of the very few people that doesn't think he's scary, and accepts him for who he truly is. That, and she's the girl who he loves.

There was a quiet knock on the door. "Да?" The person who knocked peaked his head in. It was Eduard. "Mhm? Eduard? What are you doing up so late?" Ivan asked the Estonian.

"W-well..." Eduard stuttered out of nervousness and fear that he might anger the tall Russian. Ivan sighed and said, "Nevermind. So why are you here?"

"U-uhm, I-i came because of Natalya.." Ivan raised a brow, confused. "So? What about her?" Ivan pressed on.

"T-toris wanted to know if he c-could go o-out with h-her.." Ivan chuckled at this as Eduard shook in fear, fearing that the Russian man was angered.
