Jai's pov
So, everyone finally arrived at Nana's house and everyone is happy to see each other. I am glad to have my mom's family after such a very long time. Mom never really mentioned her side of the family. I guess because she didn't want more stress from Uncle Pete but all is good now as they have sorted it all out and we all are going to be living in the same house, well live in a mansion.
It is now 7:30pm and everyone has been in their own room ever since they got here, just trying to unpack. But I guess they are done because everyone is coming downstairs one by one. They seemed very tired but happy.
'Hey, Jai, are you done unpacking?' Aunt May says as she sat down with me.
'Yeah, Aunt May! I am all unpacked. Are you all unpacked?' I asked her.
'I am all unpacked too. But all that unpacking has made me hungry. Mom, what do you wanna eat? Me and the ladies will start making dinner.' Aunt May said.
'Well, I was thinking we order pizza because everyone is very tired from unpacking. What does everyone say about having pizza for dinner?' Nana suggested.
'Yeah, I am down for pizza!' I say. Everyone agreed. I went on the Pizza Hut app and ordered 10 boxes of pizza and 6 boxes of garlic bread. As everyone loves pepperoni, we agreed on pepperoni pizza. Once I was done ordering the pizza, I joined in with the conversation. The pizza won't be long.
'The pizza will be here in 30 minutes.' I said to everyone.
'Awesome. We will go and get the drinks, so we won't be long and don't worry, we will only get soft drinks because we don't want to be drinking alcohol today. Sam, Pete, you wanna come along with me?' Dad said. Uncle Same and Uncle Pete went with my dad.
'Okay, see you 3 later.' Mom says. As we waited for the pizza and drinks, I got to catch up with all my cousins. In that time, my dad and uncles were back. The pizza is here as well. We all sat round the and starting eating. The adults wanted to watch a movie, so we all came to a conclusion and decided to watch Night In The Museum. We can't really argue about that.
*10:30am*
It is a new day and I just woke up. I felt so rough, so I went straight for my bathroom and first brushed my teeth. Afterwards, I started the shower and fetched my clothes from my room. I went back and I actually only my towel. I have no idea what I am wearing today, so I only got my towel. As I got into the shower, the feeling of the hot water is just so refreshing and I felt like a new person. As soon as I finished my shower, I got out and went to my room. I am still unable to figure out what to wear. I opened my wardrobe and a big pile of clothes just fell out on top of me and I just fell to the floor. I just laughed. I got up and I realised that the clothes need to be washed but before I put them in the basket, I picked out a pair of jeans, plain white top and a plain black cardigan. I am now ready. I went to take all my dirty clothes and put t in my laundry basket. I then went downstairs to my family. They were sitting at the table. Breakfast has also made an appearance on the table.
'Good morning everyone.' I said. I down down next to Harry.
'Morning.' Mm says. My dad came down minutes later.
'Hey, guys, so, I got of the phone with the people who are moving into our old house and you won't believe who is moving into that place.' Dad says.
'Who?' Shania asks.
'Well, a childhood friend of mine and his family. Amelia, Sam, you both remember Martin right?' Dad says.
'Yeah, we remember him. He is such a cool guy. Haven't seen that guy in a very long time.' Uncle Sam says.
