Rayn's POV

I escorted Mary to the kitchen, nervous if I must say.

Did I do something wrong?

What if she doesn't approve of my relationship with Ella!

What if she doesn't like me?

No, I can't live without her, she's my everything.

My world.

My universe.

She made my life bright like her beautiful smile.

" So Rayn, I heard that you love my daughter, right ? And how much are you willing to do for her ? " she began with an emotionless face.
Her question is the easiest one I've had in many years.

I looked at her straight in the eyes
" Yes I love her so much , I love her to the sun and back and I'm willing to sacrifice my life for her ,I would die for her ,I would take a bullet right in my heart for her " I replied honestly.

I saw a smile making her way to Mary's face " Wow... I'm speechless. They usually say ' To the moon and back ' yet there you are, as cute as ever " She said. Then she hugged me.

I felt safe in her arms.

I felt warm.

Like a mother's warm.

I don't remember her in my childhood.

I shook it off because it's not the time " Thanks? so what..." I said hoping that she would tell me why I'm here.

" Rayn, do you know when is Ella's birthday? " She asked.

" Well of course it's this Thursday ,why? " I replied.

" Well Mary, I have my own sources" I smirked proudly.

I mean of course I know my girlfriend's birthday.

" Okay then, are you planing on doing something for her? "

" Yes " I simply said.

Her eyes lighten up with excitement and joy " Really? What? "

" That I can not say, it's a surprise for her so, I'm sorry " I apologized

" That's okay, as long as you make her happy. " She patted my shoulder and walked to the living room with a grin on her face. I followed her.

I looked at Ella and saw her... Hand wrestling her father?

I sat next to Ella and Ian looked at me, pissed ,that caused him to loss concentrate so Ella took that as her chance and twisted his hand.

" And the winner is Ella " Kevin announced while lifting her arm in the air.

" You just got lucky " Ian pointed out pouting.

" and you just go serve " She replied with a victorious smirk.

" Hey guys, do you want to eat
pizza? " I asked because I'm hungry.

" When are you leaving? " Ella asked her parents.

" Sick of us already? " Mary faked a sob.

I watched in horror.

I ran to her along with my dad to move her but Rayn was faster.

Rayn was stronger.

It's like the time has stopped.
