Erika's pov: I wake up to the sound of boys making monkey sounds and jumping on the bed. God, even without Jake here they still do this stuff. I walk downstairs and make myself some breakfast. Tessa is sitting on the couch with the baby. "Hey Tess," I say quietly just in case the baby's asleep. "Hey, Erika. Where is Jake?" She asks. "I told him to leave. He cheated on me." I muster out. "I can't believe he did it again!" The baby was awake so it was ok. "Well I'm gonna go get some diapers." She goes to grab the car seat. "Ok bye."
Kade walks in "Hey Erika, can we talk?" He looks really nervous. "Yeah what's up?" We go outside. "How are you and Jake?" He asks. "Not good. He cheated on me." I mumble. "Oh I'm sorry..." he actually looks kind of happy. I wonder why? "Why do you look so happy?" I say. "Well um.. I... I love you."
What?! He.. loves me? "But you were always so supportive of me and Jake. You were 'Uncle Kade'!" I say. "I know. Jake is one of my best friends. I just went along with everything and I didn't want him to know so I just acted like it." He says quietly. To be honest I kind of had a thing for him before Jake. "I don't know what to say..." I say. "You don't have to say anything. We can talk about this after you and Jake talk or something." He says. "Ok." Is all I managed to say. He went into the office and I just was waiting for Tessa to get back.
She got back home and I dragged her into my room. "Tessa you will not believe what just happened!" I say. "What?" She asks. "Kade said he loves me!" I say. "What?! Oops I mean what?" She whispers because I didn't give her a chance to put the baby down. "Yeah I know." I say. "So do you love him to?" She asks. "I don't know. Me and Jake have to figure some things out. Well I had feelings for him before Jake. I- I- I don't know what to do or think." I stutter. "It's ok. Just talk to Jake. I called him and he'll be back tomorrow to figure things out." She says. "Ok. I hope we can figure this out professionally for the sake of Team 10." I say. "Yeah. Oh and can you watch Skylar tonight? Me and Chance haven't done anything in a while." She asks. "Oh yeah of course! It would be nice to spend some time with little Sky." I say. I still can't believe what just happened! He loves me?
