Chapter 1

"Turn the radio down!" Jacob said to Carter as they cruised down the highway.

"Ok, ok!" she said turning down the volume literally like 2 notches. The Justin Bieber was still blaring despite her adjusting the sound. He decided he might as well give up on sleeping, besides they were almost there anyway.

He opened his eyes and looked up at the passing signs and billboards.

...McDonalds....Acne Cream....Planet Fitness...ugh

Jacob hated long car rides because 1. there was nothing to do but well ride. And 2. Because he easily got car sick every time. "How much longer?" he asked growing impatient.

"Maybe like 20 minutes." Carter said looking at her phone. Jacob sighed.

20 minutes...more like 10 with Carter's driving.

Jacob still wasn't sure what to expect as to this convention. He had found out that YouNow was a broadcasting app sort of like Youtube except it was live. So apparently all the most popular broadcasters were going to be here.

Great a bunch of egotistical strangers that he had never seen or heard of before...

Jacob got out of the car and looked up at the three story brick building that the convention was being held in. Carter squealed loudly while she had one of her 'excitement spasms'. Sometimes she was a bit frightening.

"So what exactly are we gonna do here?" Jacob asked running his hand through his hair.

"Meet famous people!" Carter said joyfully. And with that she took off running towards the entrance. "Hey wait up!" he called after her.

As they entered the building Jacob was amazed at how many people there were. "Holy shit ..." he whispered to Carter.

"I know." She responded with a smirk. "You think I'd make you come to something that wasn't absolutely amazing?"

"No...of course not ." Jacob said reassuringly. But deep down he was thinking of the time she'd made him go to a 'My Little Pony' convention when they were like 7. She had gotten sick and thrown up on him only to go back and eat more cupcakes. It was a nightmare to say the least.

He snapped out of the unpleasant memory and looked at his current surroundings. There were about six areas where different broadcasters were taking pictures with their fans and there were probably more on the other floors. Carter immediately started screaming and ran over to one of the areas. I looked at the name above the section. It said 'Zachary Clayton'. Hmm I guess she thinks the dude is hot.

The boy looked to be about 17 or 18 and had brown hair that was intensely curly and stood on top of his head like a loofah.

Carter was next in line to get her picture with him and she motioned for me to come with her. I was going to refuse but I thought 'what the heck?'. I walked over to Zach's section and stood by Carter.

"Next." one of the security guards said in a flat voice. Me and and Carter walked towards Zach. He looked up and smiled at us. "Heyyy guys!" Zach said then smiled goofily.

"Zachh! I love you so much!" Carter yelped and gave him a hug. I just waved awkwardly and smiled. We leaned in and hugged Zach as our picture was taken.

Afterwards we went to a few other sections with other broadcasters. But I wasn't really focused for the rest of the time. Something about Zach was...intriguing.
