I come running into the class room yelling "We are at war!" No one believed me because there have been rumors all over the school that I have been lying. So I was sitting in my 4th hour finishing my math when the teachers said we could get into partners. I got up and walked over to the person I am always partners with. Her name is Taylor. She asked me if we were really at war and I said that we were. I had the teacher turn on the news to prove we were really at war. Once she did, the first thing you could hear was, "everyone seek shelter. We are in a world war, and the German army is on their way!" Everyone started freaking out and the first thing I did was grab Taylor and go to my house to get in the safest place I knew. It was in my storm shelter. By the time we got there, my parents had already shown up. They always told me that I could bring one friend with me if anything like this had ever happened. Of course I picked the best friend I have ever had (Taylor) and brought her. We got in the shelter and turned on the radio and listened for a while. After sitting in there for a while we became very scared because the radio said they were about an hour away. I grabbed Taylor and held her for a while and told her we were going to be okay. I could tell she was scared because she was shaking. After about another two hours, we heard on the radio that they are here. We then started hearing explosions and gun shots. My dad ten lifted up the seat and handed me my shotgun and told me that once it seems to slow down,, we will go out and see how bad it is. I said, Okay." As soon as I said okay, Taylor told me that she wanted to come to. I told her that it was too dangerous to go. She said she didn't care and wanted to go anyway. I told her that if she comes, she will have to be very careful and stay behind me. After about another hour, my dad, Taylor, and I went out of the shelter while my stepmom and brothers stayed behind. We looked around and saw that the buildings have been destroyed. We started walking around and saw dead bodies' everywhere. It was a very depressing sight. After a while of walking around, we went back and went back into the shelter.
