Sam hasn't been talking to me a lot since I yelled at Nick... maybe I scared him off.. [I don't think he'll talk to me ever ag-]
"Dean." A small voice interrupted my thoughts. Sam's voice.
      "Yes?" He sounded scared.
"When you yelled a couple days ago... who were you talking to?"
"Ok well- he-" I took a breath, realizing my breathing was shaky "His name is Nick."
      "But- who is he?"
"He's not real. I don't know who he his. All I know is that he isn't..... real." An image of him runs through my head and I begin to tear up, remembering everything I've done because of him. "He won't s-stop" I let out a sob and run my hand through my short hair. "He won't leave me alone."
      "You betcha!" Him.
"Leave. Please." I heard Sam get up and walk to the vent.
      "Is he here?" Sam called.
"Y-yes." Nick smiled and waved. That sick, sick, smile.
      "What's he saying or doing?"
"Tell him in picking my nose and eating it." He laughed at his joke. "No! Tell him I'm jumping of your mattress with devil horns on my head." He spoke, bouncing around like a child on a sugar high.
"He's making jokes.... teasing me..." I back up into the wall and slide down. Nick makes his way over to me and squats down in front of me.
"What's wrong sunshine?" He smiled and touched my hand.
"Dean close your eyes." Sam spoke softly through the vent. "Play the music." I quickly pull the small box out of my pocket, making sure to keep my eyes closed the entire time.
"Is it a good song? Or some cheesy love song."  could hear Nick pretend to throw up as I pushed the button, the song continuing from where it left off last time.

'Once I rose above the noise and confusion,
Just to get a glimpse above this illusion.
      I was soaring ever higher.
      But I flew too high'

I sobbed and murmured lyrics with the singer, Nick disappearing from my mind.  I opened my eyes slowly and Nick was gone. I stopped the music and whispered.
      "Thank you."
"It's no problem brother." I smiled and felt my eyes slowly close from crying and let myself drift off into sleep while sitting in the corner of my room.
