(Y/n Pov)
It's the weekend so I was excited to be able to get to sleep in, well that's what I thought, at exactly 8:00 in the morning Kid, Liz, and Patty barged into my room, waking me up. And they dragged me to the park because I guess everyone was gonna play basketball. Once we made it there it seemed like everyone was waiting for us,"Hey guys ready to play?"Subaki asked with a big smile."You guys can play, I'm just gonna watch,"I said as I went to sit down on the bench but before I could, Kid grabbed the back of my black hoodie and dragged me to the center of the court,"What the heck Kid! Didn't you get the hint? I don't what to play!" I yelled and he just smiled at me."Trust me your not getting out of this, I've already tried," Maka said as she put a hand on my shoulder, this reminded me of Seth and I turned all depressed. I sighed and said,"Fine let's just get this over with," Kid and BlackStar were team captains. I was on Kid's team with Liz and Patty and against us were BlackStar, Soul, Subaki, and Maka. And the game started, me and Maka had no clue how to play so I guess both teams had there bad player. I mostly just stood there trying to figure out what was going on, I really didn't play sports(Sorry if you play sports but that's the personality I gave you, and also I don't own you or soul eater I just create the story and you read it) I managed to sneak away while they were focused on the ball and decided to go on a walk. I guess Maka thought the same thing because she ran up behind me and said,"Hey, have room for one more?" I smiled and nodded my head yes. We talked for a while and eventually found a bench to sit and relax for a little bit.
(Kids Pov)
I noticed (Y/n) and Maka slip away from the game and go for a walk, I just smiled and continued playing. I guess everyone else was too focused on the game to notice they left, well except for Subaki who was looking at them walk away.
(Maka's Pov)
After sitting down, (Y/n) looked so relaxed. I found this to be the best time to ask her about Seth, I know it's hard for her to talk about but I know she needs to talk to someone."H-Hey (Y/n), can I ask you a question?" I asked looking over at her, she turned her head towards me with a smile and said,"Ya, what is it?" Well here I go, I thought as I asked,"I know this is a tough subject for you but...I can tell you need to talk and are full of pain so,what happened that night?" Her eyes widened and her smile faded as I asked that question and she turned her head towards the ground,"W-Well, when Crona thrusted towards me and I wasn't able to dodge fast enough and...," her eyes started to water and she closed her eyes,"and he transformed, sending the sword right through his chest, he pushed me out of the way so I would live...it should have been me! I should have been the one to die!"She said as tears drifted down her cheeks. I pulled her into a hug and started crying as I thought of Soul and how he did the same thing for me, he was willing to die for me and if I didn't check in that stupid building, none of this would have ever happened,"It's all my fault,"I heard her whisper making my eyes shoot open as she pulled away from the hug,"If it were anyone's fault, it's mine,"I said,"I dragged you two with us and decided to go check out what happened even though I k ew it may not be safe, I'm so sorry," she wiped the tears of her face a gave a fake smile which shocked me that she could even do that at this point."You can't blame yourself for curiosity, I just wasn't strong or fast enough to hold my ground and he payed for that," she said looking back at the ground, she then pulled me into another hug and we realized it was getting late so we walked back to the others, I was just happy that I finally got that off my chest and I'm sure she was to.
(Y/n Pov)
Once we made it back to the group, the game was over and Kid, Liz, and Patty were exited which means that they won. I wiped my face to make sure I didn't have anymore tears on my face then started to laugh because Patty started yelling,"Giraffe!" Kid looked over at me and smiled.
(Time Skip)
We were at Kids house and it was starting to get late so we decided to go to bed and I fell asleep instantly. Upon waking up I looked over at my clock and it was 2:30 in the morning and I couldn't seem to fall asleep so I decided to go on a walk. The starry sky was beautiful as the breeze blew through my hair, I started walking through the streets and that's when I saw something strange in one of the alleyways, I walked over to it and found a trail of blood. I froze, I knew that if I followed this I would probably find myself in some trouble, but if I don't...someone could die. I ran through the alleyway, following the trail and found myself at a dead end. I started to walk forward and look around for any clues to what happened here, that's when I heard a thud from behind me. I slowly turned around and there stood a tall kishin that on its right hand had sharp claws, I took a few steps backward as the Kishin stared at me. I found myself leaning against the wall with no escape in mind, the Kishin then charged at me and I quickly dodged, giving me the chance to make a run for it. I ran through the dark streets with the Kishin inches behind me and I decided to make a sharp turn to try to lose him, I was in an alleyway again and started climbing up onto the roof of the building to try to get away. I ran on the roofs and the Kishin wasn't in sight until I felt something grab my shoulder as it's claws were digging into my skin, it threw me and I landed on a different rooftop, hitting my head really hard. My eye sight was blurry but I saw a figure coming closer to me by the second, I slowly stood up to my feet and my vision finally cleared and the Kishin was right there. I instantly kicked it in the face trying to fight back but it used it claw to cut right threw my right arm. I stood there, clenching my right arm in pain and in seconds the Kishin kicked me, sending me falling of the roof and I landed in the alleyway. I tried to get up but found I couldn't, the Kishin jumped down and started beating me up until it knew I was weak, even then I tried to fight back and it picked me up and shoved one of his fingers into my right eye. I screamed in pain as the blood rushes down my cheek, it then stabbed me threw the stomach making me spit out a lot of blood. I threw me against the wall and I waited for it to finish me off, I closed my eyes as I sat there waiting for it to kill me, but it never happened. I opened my eyes to see Death the Kid Fighting the creature with Liz and Patty. How did they find me? Once the Kishin was finished he walked over to me and said with a closed eyed smile ,"Don't worry, it's dead now!" He then opened his eyes and gasped in shock,"(Y-Y/n)!?" He said and I passed out.
(Kids Pov)
For some reason I woke up at 3:00 in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep at all, I got up and went to the Kitchen to get a snack and I got a call through my Kitchen Mirror, I answered and there stood my dad,"Hey, Kiddo! How are you today?" He said, he seemed a little worried about something and why was he calling this late at night?"Good, what is it you need?"I asked,"Well, there is a Kishin roaming around Death City that I would like you to deal with," I nodded and said,"I will take care of it right away," I went and woke up Liz and Patty and we headed out. For a while there was no sign of the Kishin until I heard a loud scream of pain, I ran towards the scream to find the Kishin attacking a girl, he stabbed her in the stomach with his claws and she spit out blood and was threw against the wall. I charged towards the creature and I kicked it in the face then shot it, killing it. I landed on the ground perfectly symmetrical and I could finally have the balance of souls between Liz and Patty after the Pyramid quest. I went to check on the girl but I was sure she was dead, any normal human would have died. I turned around but there sat the girl, looking straight at me. Her blood covered her face and cloths. I walked up to the girl with a closed eyed smile and said,"Don't worry, it's dead now!" I then opened my eyes and gasped in shock as I saw none other than (Y/n) sitting there,"(Y-Y/n)!?" I said and She passed out. I stood there trembling at the sight and I checked her pulse, luckily she was still alive...but for how long."What is it Kid?"Patty asked as she and Liz walked over to us and saw who it was, I picked up (Y/n) and carried her. We needed to take her to Professor Stein. We rushed her over to Stein's Lab/House (What ever you want to call it) and banged on the doors. Seconds later Stein opened the door and turned the screw on his head and asked,"What bring you here this late at night?" I showed him (Y/n) and we took her into his house and laid her down on one of the lab tables, he inspected her eye, stomach, and arm them looked over at us saying,"She is gonna need surgery, I will take her to the schools infirmary and start the process immediately, as for you three go home and by morning should be done," I nodded and we left towards the mansion. In the morning, I was gonna call everyone telling them what happened, I just hope (Y/n) is all right.
