A Trip To The Shelter

Cara's P.O.V.

While the police walked around Kendall's apartment I was dragged  outside  by a now  smiling Kendall. "Are you happy? Wow I'm surprised that all of the anger has left you so quickly. Normally you hold a grudge...No offense." I said the last part quickly while giving Kendall a  smile and she just laughed

"Oh I'm not done being pissed off, but you offered to  buy me a puppy. And if  you try to get out of this I will  focus  all my anger on  you  Miss Delevingne." She gave me a devilish smile as she walked  down the hall to get to the car. I honestly didn't think I'd actually have  to buy her a puppy, but maybe this would be good for her. Besides Kendall had a dog when she was younger  so she knew how to take care of one. 

After 10 minutes we pulled up to a small animal shelter and got out of the car. Kendall raced  in before I could say anything  to her about what type of dog she wanted. I laughed and ran after her entering the shelter to see Kendall was already looking at all of the dogs. "Alright Kenny try to get a small  dog cause I'm not really a fan of big ones." After I stated that she just stared at me before  breaking out in laughter.

"Cara I'm  getting a big dog. I  don't really  like small dogs and besides I'm the one who wants one so you don't have a say." I glared at her and shook my head 

"I do have a say  in this since it's my  money. We are getting a  small dog and that is  final." I huffed and began looking at all of the small dogs while Kenny turned and focused on some of the  lab mixes. There was no way in hell we were ending up with a big dog. Not even Kendall could convince me to get  one.

2 Hours Later

She convinced me to get one, but we may have also sort of kind of bought a small one too. I turned my head to look in the back seat to see the two puppies sleeping. I couldn't help, but smile at the small puppy whose tongue was sticking out as he snoozed. I guess the other puppy was kind  of cute too or whatever, but mine was much cuter.

We arrived home with the dogs to see that the police had cleared out and we had the apartment to ourselves and our 2 new family members. "What are  you gonna name him?" I asked as Kenny held her puppy.

"I always liked the  name Jax, so that's what  I'm sticking with. He's a Boxer mix and the cutest little puppy in the world" she stated smiling as it licked her face. "What are you going to name her?" She asked while looking at the American Eskimo mix cuddled up on my lap.

"I like the name Belle. And also you are wrong she is the cutest little puppy in the world and I'm sure if she was awake she would most definitely like my  face right now." Kendall laughed and shook her head before standing up and placing the  sleeping puppy in his bed in the crate before closing it. I did the same and both puppies surprisingly fell right asleep.

"Today was a great day Cara. Thanks for being there for me even when I'm a little crazy." I smiled at her and gave her a gentle kiss

"I'll always be there for you Kenny. Now let's get some sleep." I put my arm around her and  brought her  to the bed. Tonight was one of the first nights of her actually falling asleep next to  me since Annie came back and  I'm happy I  was able to clear her mind. I placed a small kiss on her  forehead before letting sleep consume me.
