Still standing

The talk

So it's been 2 weeks since I found out I'm pregnant and I think I'm ready to tell my parents, so pray for me please. 🙏

So i went down stairs.

"Mom, dad.. I need talk to y'all." I said as I walked into the living room.

"Yes baby." Said my dad.

" umm.." I said a little afraid to get the words out.

" spit it out honey." My Mama said looking up from her lab top.

"Well I'm pregnant." I said.

My dad face had me scared and sad I let him down but my mama face showed disappointment all over it.

"Your pregnant?, how?who?when?"asked my dad.

"Yes I'm pregnant and it happened at a party and I'm don't know who the father is cause I was drunk and I didn't ask him his name." I said looking down I could just feel their disappointment.

"So how many weeks are you? Asked my mama

"5 weeks today.

"So you know you was pregnant for 5 weeks and your just now telling us." I nodded my head.

"But Mama and daddy in take care of the baby okay I'm get a job and still go to college my friends going help me out and all." I said hoping they like that I thought of something.

"Baby it's harder then that." My Mama said.

"I know but I'm do it cause I made this happen and I'm step up I promise, please forgive me." I said to my mama and daddy.

"Don't ask me forgiveness ask god." Said my dad he got up and left the room.

"Okay baby we going help also okay so get ready for this journey." I nodded my head.

"And also we going to the doctors tomorrow to make sure everything is okay." Said Mama.

"Okay thanks you Mama for being there for me." I said getting up and walking to my room up stairs.

When I got to my room my dad was sitting on my bed with his head in his hands crying. I walk over to and set next to him and rubbed his back.

"How, how did I let this happen? Was I not there enough for you? I tried to be there for you and give you enough space but not to much." He said breaking down.

"No dad you and Mama was perfect y'all did everything right, and that's why I'm taking on this responsibility of mines." I said wiping a little tear from my eyes.

"I'm glad you're doing this, just know me and your mama is here for you." Said my dad, he gave me a hug then left out my room.

I went to sleep after that.

Doctors appointment :7 weeks

So today I'm going to my very first doctors appointment today and I'm nervous like wow this is my first doctor appointment.

So me and my Mama walk into the doctors office and sit down in the waiting room.

"Rihanna Wilson? Is there a Rihanna Wilson here? She said looking around the room.

"I'm here." I said as me and my mama was getting up and walking over to her.

"Hey Rihanna, are you ready? She asked.

"Yes ma'am." I said and she took us to the back and took us to the doctors room.

As we was waiting i was getting so nervous I mean really nervous, like I can feel the butterflies in my stomach.
