I walk into the Dolans driveway, I knock on the door waiting for Grayson to open the door. Could you believe that? Grayson? Him & I? Actually hanging out?! He opens it and looks at wide eyed.

"Y-you gotta go Sahara. We c-can't hang today." I furrow my eyebrows in confusion. "You deadass begged me over the phone to come over?" He chuckles, he plays with his fingers, something I've noticed that he does when he's nervous. I push past him and runs up the stairs, I groan and follow and see that he's guarding Ethan's door. "Is it what I think?" He looks down, "I'm just doing what a brother is suppose to be doing." I sniffle "Let me in." He moves out of the way "Whatever you see in there... may hurt your heart. Might even break it. But just know i tried to stop him. I'm always here Sahara don't forget that." He gives me hug , I don't hug back. "Move Grayson. Please." He moves out of the way and I open the door to see Ethan giving head to some chick on his bed.

My heart. Is this what heartbreak feels like? I'm numb. I should've known this was coming, everyone I seem to love always ends up hurting me.

I choke on my tears "We're done. Don't ever show your face. I don't wanna see it!" His head pops up and he smiles, "Aw did you think we were a couple? How dumb can you be?" I let the tears fall, and Grayson comes in and gives Ethan a disapproving look, and he hugs me "Come on. You need to go home." I nod my head. "It wasn't him Sahara. It's the drugs, he's been taking more, I can't even look him in the eyes without him getting drowsy." I look at him and see that he's crying too, I hug him. "I'm gonna go." He hugs me "Be safe. Text me as soon as you get home." "Okay Gray." "Promise me you'll text as soon as you get home." I look at him and smile "I promise." And I hook my pinky to his and leave. As soon as I'm out the door I burst out in full fledge tears, I slide down the door and bring my knees to my face. "Why does everyone hurt me? Am I not good enough?"

I knew he was bad news....
