Later she finished her coffee and didn't really have much to do, so she decided to give this cute Ross guy a call.
It rang Once. Twice. Three times. Voicemail. Busy probably talking to one of the other hundred basic Starbucks girls he probably gave his number that day.
She sighs and heads to the bathroom for a shower. She starts the shower and gets undressed.
"It's Summer and I still haven't lost any weight? Ugh."
She walked over to the bathroom speaker and hit play. Greetings from Califournia by The Neighbourhood starts. Feeling lonely, she walks over to her jewelry box and lifts up the broken fold at the bottom and pulls out a blade. She aims it horizontally on her wrist then gets startled when her phone begins to ring. She quickly puts the blade back in the box and grabs her phone.
Ross.
She grabs her light pink silk robe from the back of the door and wraps it around herself before answering.
" Haha, hey Ross. I tried to call but you were busy."
" Yeah sorry I was just finishing up the shift here sorry." He says in a slightly embarrassed tone.
"No it's good." She reassured him.
"Ok good, because I was wondering if in about an hour you'd like to come to Daisy's with me."
"Oh, sure I'm free!" I say excitedly.
"Yay! Pick you up at 7:00!"
Anything to get me out of my head, she thinks.
