--------

After the fiasco of getting caught in the rain yesterday, Ailee woke up rather sluggishly and  walked down the stairs to be greeted by a plate of toast and eggs on the table. Underneath the plate was a note.

Knowing it was probably from her mother, she opens it.

-----------

Good morning sweetie. I had an early trade day so I'm sorry I couldn't greet you directly, eat quickly before the bugs get your food. Love you.

-----------

She smiles to herself before picking up the plate of food. "At least it's still warm..." She mumbles, walking to the couch and plopping herself down on it, looking outside the window to see kids playing and ladies ready to shop at the town centre with their bags.

"Maybe I'll go to the library today,"

Following her said plan, she finished up her breakfast at a nice pace, sneaking in a cup of tea with it and finally started to get ready. Closing the door behind her, shes already greeted by her neighbour from the window as she passes a wave and a smile.

She checks out the sales from the stalls whilst passing by, watching a woman and the seller arguing over eggs, getting a laugh out of her.

Finally reaching the library, she pushed open the doors to hear the bell chimes above the door ring their bells, alerting the librarian a customer was here.

"Welcome to Oaken Books!"

Ailee meets eyes with the familiar librarian, forming a smile to her lips. "Ailee! How are you?" His enthusiasm springed out. "Ive been doing great- the library seems like its going well,"

"Oh, its been great. More kids are learning to read due to the new school in the village! Theyre so excited to come here and learn more words, ive never been so excited myself." He laughs, looking out the window.

"Are you here to find flower books again?"

"Perhaps,"

The two let out a small fit of laughter, slowly dragging out. "Well, lucky for you, a new order of books just came in from Lorelia. Im sure theres something youd like there."

Her eyes glow a little, looking over to the book shelves in excitement. Only to look back at the librarian nervously. He stares for a bit until he finally gets the stare. "Oh- right, sorry. Upstairs, the third shelf on the left."

She chuckles. "Thank you,"

Following his directions, you head up the stairs and spot the third aisle. She trotted along excitingly until she noticed there was another person in the aisle. She thinks nothing of it and passes him, scanning all the books on the shelf.

"Why are the cooking books next to the astronomy books..."

Wiping the thought from her mind, she lights up once she sees the flower prints on the cover of the book. "New edition! Lorelia is really spreading out their variety," she exclaims quietly, before frowning as she realises its on the higher level of the shelf.

She nervously laughs to herself, getting on her tippy toes and extending her arm as far as it could go only to fail to reach the book. Now its either she shakes the shelf and risk all the books falling on her, or call the librarian over and stop hin from doing his paper work, which obviously is not what she intends to do.
