*kristinas pov*
I turned around and it was Jonah.
"Hey Kristina I knew I recognized you! Wait so what're you doing here?" He asked
"Uhm.. my family gathering?"
I looked back at my mom.. she's talking to a woman whom I've seen in Jonahs Instagram photos.
"Mom?" Jonah and I said at the same time and we gave each other a weird look
"Oh Kristina! You've finally met Jonah! He's your cousin! Also I know his sister should be here! Citlali! Oh my it's been forever sis!" My Mom exclaims.
"Yes it has! Sometime we should do some yoga together! Oh and Citlali is currently in the restroom." Jonahs Mom says
"Uh what so Jonah and I are cousins? And we already knew each other for awhile now but found out just now..?" I tried to process on what has been happening
"Yeah that pretty much sums it all up" my mom says
"Well I mean we've been treating each other like siblings.. now we can actually say we're related by blood" Jonah says
I nodded my head and then I realized a really pretty girl that had long brown hair in a Dutch braid.
"Hi! I sorta overheard that you're Kristina and is my cousin! I'm Citlali but you can call me Lali for short" she said happily
"Hey! Hope we can get along well and maybe we could hangout sometimes" I said giving a friendly smiled back
That whole time at the gathering I had a great time. I feel like I became much closer to my family and I'm glad that I realized Jonah and Lali are my cousins because they're so sweet and Jonah has basically been my best friend since the beginning.
