He parked his car in a parking bay at the side of the road. There were lots. This part of the coast was popular with dog walkers. Just be careful of the cliffs though. Wouldn't be the first person to chase an errant dog to the edge then stumble or have the crumbling limestone cliffs give way under your feet.

The safety rails were regularly moved back a foot or two as the North Sea claimed back another few inches at a time of the land. Rockfalls. Landslides. Lookout below.....

He walked purposefully to the edge. Following the path though. Until he reached the point furthest from the road. He was wearing black. No one would see him.

The safety rails were around three feet high. Peppered with signs every 100 feet or so.

IT IS DANGEROUS TO APPROACH THE       CLIFF EDGE

He approached the cliff edge.
