"You weren't supposed to exist, Mikasa!"
A slap.
"You are ugly!"
Another slap.
"You are a disgrace! What is it with you and roses?! A rose is much more prettier than your sorry face!"
Slap.
"How are you even our daughter?!"
Another slap.
The child's tears were dripping endlessly on the marbled floor. She was on her knees kneeling on green peas. Her knees were almost collapsing.
"S...Stop..." She uttered.
The black-haired woman shifted in her sleep.
"Princess. It is wonderful to see you."
The door came open with no response. The Doctor stared at her with worry. "Are you alright?" Her eyes were clearly red from crying. The young girl walked back to her bed, sitting in sadness.
Seeing that the door was open, he was offered to come in. He knew there would be consequences entering and seeing the Princess since Doctor Jäger was a private doctor for the King and Queen only.
As slowly and quickly as possible, he shut the door behind him and approached the young Princess. He knelt down and looked at her straight in the eye.
"Doctor Jäger...they did this again..." She whimpered, rolling her sleeve off and revealing bruises. He was stunned and he grabbed it, inspecting it. He gritted his teeth seeing her like this.
"I do not understand why they are doing this. Certainly you are much nicer than them," He meant that remark, giving her a soft smile. The two had developed an almost father-daughter relationship.
He would be there for her when her parents couldn't. However, it came of great price. He wasn't allowed to see the Princess. He only came to check on the King and Queen for medications and daily check-ups.
"Lady Mikasa, don't cry. We will find a way through this."
She sat up with a gasp. The room was clear, but unfamiliar. Then there was a boy beside her. Shirtless. She panted. Where am I? She questions herself. After looking around, she failed to notice that she had nothing on at all.
Sensing this, her chest was exposed. She made a scream as she grabbed the blanket, covering her body. But after doing so, the boy beside her was completely exposed and left a sight never to forget.
She gasped as she moved back, but ended up falling to the floor. The boy woke up from the sound, alerted. "Serhilda, are you..." The black-haired woman backed away as she reached for her blanket.
"Wh-Who are you?!" She questioned.
Eren frowned. "If you were still in euphoria from last night, I, Eren Jäger did that." She stared at him wide-eyed. "Where am I? What happened to my clothes?!" She shrieked.
"Relax, you're in your house Serhilda. And last night, we had so much fun together, wanna do it again??" A smirk was plastered on his face.
She blanched. "Huh?! What're you talking about? And who's Serhilda??" She questioned. Eren blinked in surprise. "Are you alright? You seem a bit odd today." He said, sitting up while covering his bottom with a pillow.
"No I'm not! Tell me where I am!" She suddenly flinched, holding her head in pain. "Serhilda...?" The black-haired clenched her teeth as she felt images inside her head.
Mikasa...
Mikasa...
Mikasa...
Mikasa!
She gasped and scurried to her dress that was scattered on the floor. Eren watched her, bewildered by her actions. "Don't bother looking!" She warned him, and he nodded uncertainly.
Serhilda quickly put on her bloomers and slipped on her dress, before tying the corset. After doing so, she headed straight through the door, but Eren walked to her, still naked.
"Serhilda, where're you going?"
"My name's not Serhilda. My name is Mikasa Ackerman. Princess of the East."
Eren laughed. "What? I thought the Princess of the East died 12 years ago? Don't tell me you are some kind of wannabe who claims she's the Princess." She frowned. "I am that Princess." She put aside her bangs, and showed him the scar on her forehead.
Eren gasped.
"What...?"
He shook his head and turned back. "No, th-that's not possible. She died! You aren't a ghost, are you?" She huffed. "No." Mikasa deadpanned. "As you can clearly see, I'm completely real."
"No. I refuse to accept this. That Royal Family killed my father for their own selfish reasons. They should be ashamed to claim the throne!" He spat. Mikasa stared at him, "I'm sorry. But I had no part in it. I...I didn't even know that they-"
Eren shook his head and hit her shoulder. "I'm done with you. Tell your parents I'm gonna hunt them down." He said sternly. "They're already dead." She mumbled. Eren stopped, but put his clothes back on.
"So everything I've said to you...even confessing my love to you...you don't remember?"
She looked down in shame. "I'm sorry..." She whispered. Eren sighed angrily and pushed her out of the way, as he headed for the door. He left without saying anything. Mikasa felt bad and guilty, but she was still confused.
All she needed to do was go back to the Palace and declare her return to the throne. She also remembered her parents eaten by werewolves. True, they may've been treating her poorly, but they were still her parents.
She then snapped out of her thoughts. Mikasa went to scan the room and looked for anything helpful. She only found a torn gown inside her closet. It was red.
And as she remembered, the Royal Family were going on a trip when they were ambushed by werewolves, and it set the carriage to fall off the cliff, badly injuring her.
She exhaled and went down. There was no sign of Eren. However, she saw three people coming inside. "Ah, Serhilda! It's nice to see y-" "Who're you?" She asked, feeling uncertain. "Why am I here? Where am I?"
Mr. Ral knew that this day would come. As much as it would hurt for Petra and Levi. "The time has come," Mr. Ral spoke. "Father? What's wrong with her?" Levi knew something was off.
Mikasa narrowed her eyes.
Mr. Ral looked at Levi and Petra intently.
