Lab Rats: The New Edition

Sister Sister

The hydraloop came racing into the Academy and it contained Daniel in it, it was his weekend to come and visit. 

"Hey." Daniel said, throwing his backpack on the ground.

"Hey, Daniel." Bree and Leo said in unison.

They all turned their attention to Donald, who was coming through the hallway. 

"Oh.. Hey Daniel." Donald greeted. "Your dad went to the mainland but i'm sure he'll be back in a few minutes."

Daniel nodded his head in understanding and headed to his dorm.

"Where'd Douglas go?" Chase asked, walking up to Donald.

"I don't know. He just said he'll be back." Donald answered. 

Donald's phone rang, he took the white smartphone out of his right back pocket.

"Speaking of." He said. "I have to take this."

Donald skipped away as he put the phone up to his ear.

Chase turned to Leo, Bree and Adam. "Where do you guys think Douglas went?" Chase asked.

"Heaven." Adam yelled, being the dumb bionic teenage male he is.

"Douglas didn't die." Bree said.
Adam shrugged his muscular shoulders and walked away.

Adam sat down at the computer desk and began to twiddle his thumbs.

It was almost time to begin training the other Bionic students at the Academy. 

Leo was just becoming a mentor at the Academy and he's been a mighty fine mentor to his group of beginner Bionic kids, including Daniel. 

"Okay, Daniel." Leo said.
"Touch Bob's arm."

Daniel gently touched Bobs' right arm, remember that Bob said "I'm a fragile flower" the first time Daniel trained with Bobs' bionics. 

"Okay." Leo said. "Great."

"What now?" Daniel asked.
"You have his super strength."
Leo responded. "Fight me."

Daniel threw the first punch with his right arm, but Leo ducked, quickly dodging Daniel's punch.

"Oh." Leo said, smiling. "Too slow." Leo quickly punched Daniel in his chest, launching Daniel at the wall behind him. He bounced off the white medal wall and he squished his face in pain.

"Yeah." Leo said. "We're gonna need more time to train you."

Daniel got up and fixed his hair, it became a mess when he hit the wall.

Douglas came up behind Leo and he had the most disappointed expression on his face. 

"Hey dad!" Daniel exclaimed, happy to see his biological father.

Douglas patted the back of Daniels' shoulder. He didn't say a word.

"What's up with him?" Daniel asked. "I'm not sure." Leo said. "But i'm about to find out."

Leo followed Douglas to wherever he was going. 

"What was that?" Leo asked. "You completely ignored your son."

"I didn't ignore him. I patted him." Douglas said, defending himself. 

"Yeah, but you didn't say anything to him and he's been anxious to see you all day." Leo said. "Where'd you go anyways?"

"I went to the store." Douglas lied.

"What store?" Leo asked.
Douglas hesitated to answer, not thinking Leo would ask that question. 

"You didn't go to the store." Leo assumed.

Douglas nodded his head, admiting he didn't go to the store.

"Look, I don't have time for this. Where's Donnie?" Douglas asks.

"He's in the lobby." Leo said.

Douglas walked away, Leo didn't want to follow him because he looked really irritated. 

Douglas walked up to Donald who was working on a new update for the chips.

"Why can't I bring her here?" Douglas asked.
Donald looked irritated, but he still responded. "We had this conversation." He said. "We don't need another bionic superhuman, we have enough."

"We don't even have to give the girl bionics." Douglas argued. "I swear I'll look out for her everyday and keep her out of trouble."

Donald was close to getting convinced.

"I already met her, she's the sweetest and maturest 14 year old you'll ever meet." Douglas said. "So, will you let me bring her here?"

Donald hesitated to answer, yet he was fully convinced.
"As long as you keep her out of trouble and we don't have to give her bionics.." Donald said, sighing. "You can bring her here, and she can stay for as long as she wants."

Douglas smiles proudly, he was happy that he finally convinced his brother.

A week had passed by since then and no one has seen Douglas.

Chase walked into the training area where his bionic siblings we're having a conversation.

"Do you guys know where Douglas went last week?" Chase asked, rudely interrupting their chat. 

"No." Leo said.
"Maybe he went back to dark side!" Adam said.

They all looked to him with the stupidest expressions on their faces. 

Donald had just come around the corner. "Hey guys." Donald said. 

"Where did Douglas go?" Chase asked.

Bree walked up to Donald. "Yeah." She said. "He's been gone for a week."

Donald sighed. "It's about time I tell you guys what he's doing." He said. 

"Is he okay?" Adam asked.
All four of them we're beginning to get worried. 

"Yeah." Donald said.  "He's fine."

"Listen, you guys are getting—"

Just as Donald was about to spill the beans about Douglas.. The hydraloop came racing into the Academy.

The hydraloop open and inside contained Douglas and a teenage girl with blonde hair. 

"Woah!" The girl said as she quickly scanned the lobby, her eyes opening wide at the huge room. "This place is huge!" She added. 

Douglas smiled and looked at the girl. "I knew you'd like it."

The pretty girl smiled back at him.

"Who's this, Douglas?" Chase asked. 

"Guys..." Douglas said. "Meet your new sister."
