The hydraloop came racing into the Academy.

Leo turned his head to it as Maddie and Douglas came out of it, with big smiles on their faces.

"Where'd you guys go?" Leo asked.

"I brought her to house in mission creek." Douglas answered, "I showed her around."

Maddie nodded her head in agreement.

"Did you meet my mom?" Leo asked.

"Tasha?"

"Yeah."

"Yeah."

"Hey, pretty lady." They heard.

"Hi, Bob." Maddie replied.

"I had a dream about you last night." Bob mentioned.

"Oh really?" Maddie asked, chuckling.

Bob winked at Maddie and walked back into the training area.

Maddies pov

The next day I was in my dorm. My blonde hair in a messy bun.

My door was closed because I was using my bionics.

I crumbled up five peices of paper.
I put them in a circle and used my telekinesis to pick them up.

"Woah." I said.

My dad walked in. "Hey." He said. "Hey." I said back.

I let go of the papers, they fell down to the bed.

"Get some sleep." Douglas said. "Tommorows your first day of school."

"I'm scared." I said. "What if I glitch at school or if I trigger my bionics?"

"Madison.." He whispered. He said as he sat down next to me. "If you do, we'll figure it out." He said.

"Okay?" He asked "Okay."

My dad quickly kissed the top of my head. "I love you." He said.

"I love you too." I said.

My dad left my room.

The next morning I was sleeping until I woke up and felt a hand on my shoulder.

"Hey." I heard. "Time for school, kiddo."

"Ugggggggh!" I yelled.

"Come on, baby girl." He said.
I felt a kiss on my head and it caused me to smile.

I knew it was my dad because he got into the habit of calling me baby girl quickly (the father daughter way)

"Fine!" He said. "5 more minutes."

"Thank god!" I yell.

I heard my dorm door close and I fell asleep for 5 more minutes.

When I was eating breakfast, me and my dad were talking about my previous adopted family.

"They weren't that bad." Douglas said.

"They forgot my birthday twice." I replied.

"August 7th." Douglas guessed.

"February 1St." I corrected. "But you we're close. Father."

Douglas shrugged his shoulders.

"Well," I said as I stood up. "Off to school."

My dad gave me a ride. When we pulled up to school, i was even nervous than before.

I felt him put his hand on my chin and pulled my head to face him.

"Your gonna be okay." He said.

"I'm scared." I said. "This is a mistake. Can we just go home?"

"No." He said.

I stuck out my bottom lip at him.

"Put the pout away." He demanded.
"Get out of my car."

"Fine." I said.
I opened the door and I punched my dads arm. "Your an idiot!" I yelled before leaving the car.

My dad nodded no and smiled.

He drove off.

I would rather not tell you about my first day.

Trouble in paradise.
