A long time ago, when demons still existed in this world, there was a feud between two races. The humans, who had no real power of their own and selfishly wished they had more power to protect the things they hold dear; the demons, who only wanted to bring destruction to our world and feed off the human's pain and suffering. The war between these two races has been going on for thousands of years. However, you wouldn't call it war but a human massacre. Human were the only beings that tried to stand against the demons, but the demons thought of it as an opportunity to entertain themselves. After all, demons are stuck to wonder hell, feeling hollow until they can find something that peaks their interest. Being creatures who lived off the pain of others, they leaped at the chance that humankind presented. Though they know they do not have the strength to fight back, human's continued pressing forward, holding onto any little hope they can find. And clinging to that shred of hope like a mother does her wailing child.
As the war between humans and demons continued, down in the depths of hell, two twin girls were born. They were so similar yet so different. The one girl whose eyes were the purest of gold, who cared for every living thing; who wanted to make everyone happy. The other girl who had poisoned, blood colored eyes, who detested everyone, except the only person she ever thought were on her side, her sister. The girl who was kind was named Lux, just like the name means in Latin, she was the "light" that shines so brightly even in the darkest pits of hell. The other girl who only ever cared about her sister was named Luna; her name also suited her well, like the moon, in one mind it comes with only darkness, but some, not many but some, can see the real beauty and light within the moon. The beauty of the full moon is just so astonishing, but it would only shine if the light is still there, if the light disappears then the moon will forever be in darkness.
Luna never started out evil; she just was not as naive as her sister. Luna did her best to protect her sister from any beast that would try to harm her. She loved her sister more than anyone; she would slaughter millions if it would protect her only light. After all, their dad was the king of all demons, Satan himself. The devil.
No one was on the twin's side, the demon did not want anything to do with them, and the human feared them for their father. They had no one except each other, that's what Luna thought anyways, but Lux had the demon animals who loved her because she protected them from many of the demons who wanted to eradicate them. Lux protected everyone, even the demons that deserve to die. She wishes for the world where peace conquered all evil, where there were no differences between races, the world where everyone is accepted for who they are, no matter one's race.
Sixteen years later, a girl was running, trying to reach the doors, if only she can reach those doors. She stops running and hides behind giant red rock pillars, while demon guards rush towards the doors. One of the guards, a massive, brute of a demon growls out in annoyance.
"She wouldn't have gone that far! Search everywhere; she must be around here somewhere!"
A second guard, one who is furthest from the girl yells back to his companions,
"Over here I think I found her!"
As the guards hurry over to join the guard, the girl stands and looks at the retreating forms of the guards and whispering under her breath,
"Thank you, Ren."
Then dashes towards the doors. The doors are at least twenty feet tall and look to weigh more than the heaviest metal. But when the girl touches the doors they slowly creaked open for her, as if swayed by a gentle breeze. When they opened wide enough for her to get through, she crept in. As she races up the flight of stairs, she couldn't bring herself to look back for if she did, she knew she would be tempted to go back, but she cannot go back now, after all the things she did and all the things she said. She must look forward and prove what she did was right. Once she got to the top of the stairs, she sees colors that she has never seen before, smells things that she never thought possible, hears things that make her wonder what is out there. As she is engulfed by the new things that swerved around her, she thinks why didn't I think of leaving sooner? This place is marvelous! This place so is alive! She starts to run around dancing, she stops and slides to the ground, rolling around. Finally, she stops and looks at the stuff she was laying on "this must be real grass!" she stated to herself. Since she has never experienced something like this, she was off in her own world; she has forgotten that people are after her, she is just so happy. Until she notices that she was surrounded, not by the demon guards that wanted to capture her alive, but the humans that want her dead. As she tries to get up one of the humans shouts broke into her train of thought.
