Ch.1: The Move

"Yuna! Get up."
My mum shouted.

"Urrghh.. mum I'm coming." I yawned.

I headed downstairs to see that breakfast was made for me.

"Thanks, mum."

I looked towards my phone and it was 9am. "I only have 2 hours left to get ready!"

I screamed as I quickly gobbled up the breakfast then ran into the bathroom to brush my teeth and shower.

"It's your own fault, Yuna. I've been trying to get you up for ages."

My mum shouted as she helped with the rush by packing the suitcase with necessities.

I took an hour long shower and put minimal make up on as I didn't have enough time.

I looked towards my phone again and
it was 10.10am.

I picked up my charger, wallet and phone and dumped it into my purse.

I went to my local corner shop and bought a sandwich and snacks for my journey to Anyang.

I quickly ran to the local train station and I was just in time.

"Phew."
I sighed as I dragged my suitcase into the train.

For the past 2 hours, I've been staring at the view outside, checking social media, playing mobile games and ate a snack.

I got off the train and called the taxi to drop me off at my address.

"Which road?"
The taxi driver asked.

"Gwangju road." I answered.

"Ok."

The taxi drove for an hour and I took out one of the two sandwiches to eat.

I had devoured the sandwich within 5 minutes and dumped my other sandwich back into my bag.

I took out a lipstick and reapplied the red hue onto my lips.

I then took a few selfies and sent it to social media. I captioned the photos as #JourneyToAnyang.

The taxi then dropped me off at my address and I took out the suitcases out of the boot.

I paid the taxi and walked down the road to find the street number 58.

I had finally found it and put in the keys of my new house into the lock.

I opened the door to reveal a strange feeling to it. I unwrapped the furniture away from the bubble wrap and hoovered the house.

I unpacked the suitcase and put the clothes into my drawer and put my makeup and toiletries into the bathroom.

I took out the other sandwich and devoured on it and the rest of the snacks in my purse.

I began cooking ramen with kimchi and pork soup and left it to boil.

I turned on the television and watched a few shows.

By that time, the food was ready.

I transferred the food into a box and left it out of the fridge for later.

I left the kimchi to ferment.
