{5} The Date

I've been awake ever since Harry and I talked about my nightmare. Everything he said made me feel safe, but I still had a sickening feeling that something bad would happen. He assured me that he wouldn't let anything happen to me. That made me wonder why and I can't stop thinking about it now. So, its been about three hours and Harry told me he was going to sleep over two hours ago. Maybe, hopefully, I can go to sleep too.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Huh?" I ask, suddenly waking up, to no one in particular. "Oh! God damn it!" I yell at my phone. It was over an hour past when I was supposed to wake up. If I didn't hurry I would be late to first-period. After taking a quick shower, grabbing a package of poptarts and my coffee from the fridge I grab my car keys, and run out of my apartment. I lock the door, and jump into my car and slightly speed off to school.

Of course, with my luck, I'm late to class. My professor gets on to me, but lets it slide because I am, for the most part, a good student.

I almost fall asleep three times, in my first class. And I still have three more classes. God, I'm tired. Wait... Harry! I can't believe I forgot! Oh my god! How could I forget I am going to go on a date with 1/5 of the world's biggest boy band? How? I have no idea. It's probably because I'm tired.

It's FINALLY 5:00pm so I'm about to get ready for my date with Harry. I would be screaming, except I don't want to come off as insane to the other people in my building. I've already taken a shower and done my hair. I wish I knew where we are going so I could know what to wear. But nooo... "its a surprize!" he said. Fine Harry, fine. So I end up dressing semi-casual, I guess. I don't really know. I'm wearing my dark-wash skinny jeans and a teal cheetah print sleeveless top, with my black wedges. I have my basic make-up on, neutrals with bright red lipstick. I decide to wear my black rose stud earrings and bring my teal handbag, decorated with a bow. That's when I hear a knock at my door. "Who is it?" I yell.

"Harry"

"Come in." I yell, smiling. It was finally time. I walk out of the one bedroom to find Harry standing by the door, looking at pictures. I smile and say "Been a while since I saw you."

"Been longer for me."

"How?"

"You saw me in that nightmare of yours." He says, chuckling.

"Oh. Yeah." I say, looking down.

"Hey, its okay. I would never do anything like that. I swear." He says sympathetically.

"I know." I say, still looking down.

"How about we get going?"

"Yeah." I say truly happy.

"Come on." He says, offering his hand. I take it graciously.

I guess I was staring for a while because Harry asks "What? Is there something on my face?"

At that I giggle and shake my head "No. No there's nothing on your face."

"You sure?"

"Yes." I continue to giggle until I full on laughing.

"Close your eyes." He says gently.

"Okay..." I say hesitantly.

"Now keep them closed until I say to open them."

I'm giggling again. "Kay."

I hear him get out of the car and come around to my side to open the door. He opens the door and helps me out of the car. He gets behind me and puts his hands on my hips, to steer me. I feel the slight shudder of an elevator as it goes up. He walks me out of tge elevator and through a door and- suddenly I feel a gush of air.

"Go ahead. Open your eyes."

I open my eyes and see that we're on a roof of a building. There's a blanket with a picnic basket on it and a fantastic veiw of New York. "Oh my god....." I say letting out a small chuckle.

"Do you like it?" He asks nervously.

"Of course. It's amazing." I say.

Harry takes me hand and we walk over to the blanket. The picnic is perfect. Harry drove me home after about three hours. As I sit in my room, I reflect on the wonderful night. Harry, for one, was adorable, and, for two, we sat and watched the beautiful sunset. And, we kissed. The night couldn't have been more perfect.
