Dirk watches his boyfriend come onto his roof. He lets out a sigh as his lips start to talk "I thought you were nuts, but you're really really nuts..." He bites his lip thinking of what to say. "you're so annoying. you pathetic young man. i'd like to love you but..." He pauses taking in another sigh. But I don't...think I can..... But to see you" He looks down at his palms, thinking "maybe...." tears collected in his eyes. "Maybe i'm the one who's nuts" he whispers, a single lone tear treads down his cheek.
Jake grinned as small tears made it to his face, He never wanted to be annoying or pathetic, he just wanted to be noticed and loved. His grin slowly disappears as tears took over. His once jolly grin turned into one of a depressed look "I-i'm-" He didn't finish his sentence as a small hiccup formed and escaped his lips. choking down a sob the English shut his mouth and looked down.
Dirk heard the sound, Amberish orange eyes widening before softening, He let out a frusturated sigh. "you probably dont mean it, you probably really dont but" He bites his lip putting his hands on his hips in thought, how could he say this without making the other feel bad? "Its hard... you know Jake? it's hard being avoided, that you always find the lamest of reasons to leave.." He should just say it but something's holding him back
Jake sniffled and wiped a tear "W-what do you mean?" He trembled a bit, for the first time in his life, Jake was scared. Dirk raises his shoulders, voice going higher "I just wanted to hang out. and you were finding every and any way to leave or avoid me, hell it seems you're embarrassed of me or that you don't...." He pasued and squeezed his eyes shut "YOU DONT WANT ME ANYMORE! SO JUST FUCKING SAY IT ENGLISH, TELL ME WHAT YOU WANT, TELL ME THAT YOU DONT WANT ME!!!" He didnt mean to shout, but he was caught up in his emotions.
Jake's eyes widen "W-WELL IM SORRY IM SUCK A JACKASS!! D-do you know how hard it is being with t-the person you love and feeling like you're not good or 'cool' enough for them?!O-OR THAT THEY MIGHT LEAVE YOU FOR SOMEONE ELSE?!? IVE BEEN AVOIDING YOU BECAUSE- b-because..." He choked down a sob as he clentched his teeth "I just know... you love someone else....I refuse to get attached and have my heart broken again..."
Dirk's eyes widen, guilt sets in.he opens his mouth to apologize but he cant, he's too proud. tears stream down his face and he turns his head. wanting to ignore this, wanting to ignore eveything. Jake looked down, fist and teeth clenched as he sobbed "I-I love you Dirk.. i really do... it's just so, so hard because i'm just-" He hiccuped and sobbed "not good enough..." He said, barely above a whisper. That was enough to break Dirk's heart, He moves closer to the sobbing british swallowing his pride "J-Jake" His voice was shaking and very uneven. Jake had taken a few steps back "I-it's okay... i see the ways you look at Roxy and the others. You give them a look you never give me..." He looks down with a pitiful smile "Maybe this is a sign Dirk... maybe we just werent-" He swallowed hard as a tear rolled down his soft smooth cheek "Maybe you were meant for someone better..."
Dirk shakes at that, he was face to face with him. biting his lips he pulls Jake into a hug hiding his face in his shoulder as he weeps. "i dont want ayone else Jake...." he whispers "i want YOU" he hiccupss, choking out a sob as he shakes a bit more. Jake trembled and hugged back tightly, as he whispered sweet nothings in the blonde's ear "Dirk... thats what you think, but is that really what you know?" Jake was confused, he couldnt understand his own feelings. He loved the boy with all his heart and soul yet everytime they were together he never felt... like enough. he knew something had to be done "Dirk, my heart knows i love you... my whole body and sould oes but.... is that what the world knows?' he stopped hugging the tear soaked blonde and sighed "im sorry my love..."
Dirks eyes widen as more tears fall, hes shaking. gone quiet with only sniffles now. he... he caused this "J-Jake" He whispers, he looks scared
Jake gently pushed Dirk as he took a couple steps back "i-i love you dirk" he did a signature english grin except this one was full of sadness, he slowly began to walk away. Dirk sobs as he collapsed to the ground, his heart was broken he was done. "i...I love you too..." he whispered after a while
