Chapter twenty-two

*Listening to the edge by tonight alive while writing this*

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes, feeling a warm feeling around my waist and a pain in my head. 

Expecting to see the tanned arm belonging to my boyfriend i was shocked when i seen that the arm around me was not tanned at all. 

Suddenly flash backs from last night replayed in my head and i instantly felt like i was going to be sick. 

I slowly turned around without waking the sleeping person next to me to see if what my brain was replaying was the truth. 

Sure enough there was Kellin laying in my bed, I slowly lifted up the blanket hoping that he would have atlas his boxers on.

"sk..sky.. what are you doing?" I heard the familiar voice of my best friend question me. 

I couldnt hold the tears that were threatening to spill out of my eyes.

"Do you remember last night?"

"ye..yea. i do. i am sorry" kelvin replied softly.

"bu..but what about vic.. i mean i know he cheated. but does two wrongs really make a right?" i questioned while not even bother trying to hold the tears back any more. 

They were falling freely and i didnt honestly care. No matter what kellin was still my best friend. Kellin grabbed my head pulling me into his chest while rubbing a thumb in my hair. instantly calming me down.

"We were both hurting last night sky. I don't want this to ruin our friendship, but no offense vic deserves to know what it feels like to be cheated on so he knows exactly how you felt. I have never seen you so upset as i did last night, It killed me to see you like that" kellin softly whispered. 

As i was listening to my best friends heart beat i drifted off to a not so peaceful sleep.

*Many hours later*

I was woken by kellins hushed voice. I kept my eyes closed not wanting him to know that i was awake.

"Ya she is here." kellin said in to the phone.

"..."

"she is sleeping at the moment."

"..."

"No I am not going to wake her up!!"

"..."

"i dont really care if you want to talk to her vic"

so thats who he was talking to. 

My heart broke a little bit as i remembered reading the messages on vic phone.

 i loved him whole heartily and he was going to break up with me for another girl.

"Ya know what vic, i don't care! are you even sure that you are dating any more? because after what you did i would be happy if she didnt take you back at all!!"

"..."

"i don't care if you are my best guy friend. She is my best girl friend, and seeing her as upset as i did last night, i NEVER wanted to see that. It killed me seeing her that broken"

"..."

"then i guess we aren't friends any more vic. Go talk to your other girl friend because i am going to cheer MY best friend up!!" Kellin screamed in the phone before i heard a huge bang.

 I slipped my eye open and noticed his phone was smashed in the corner.

"oh hey your awake?" Kellin softly questioned.
