Professer Xaivers school for gifted youngsters

When I placed myself in the car, i watched my, or what was left, of my house crackle and burn.

I felt a sharp pain when i suddenly thought back to my Dad, my old life, and how i would never get that back. My life would forevermore be changed. At these thoughts, I remembered Aurora. Oh my, how could i leave her? I cant imagine a world with out her. My old life is in the past, i need to go and control what ever the hell is happing to me, these people claim they can help me. Thats all i really need now, help. I rest my head on the window in a daze, staring at trees we were passing. A green and brown blur where the last things i saw before i dozed off.

I awoke to someone's voice say "we here." Before me was a giant house, littering with kids. The walls were covered in Ivy, and a dark green forest circled the building"Where are we?" I asked lightly.

"Safe, this is my school for the gifted like yourself." The bald man answered.

"Gifted? Am i mentally insane?" I asked raising my eyebrows

"We are mutants. Mutation, it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism. This process is slow, normally taking thousands and thousands of years, but every few millennia, evolution leaps forward." He said very proudly, i could tell he has given the same explanation to many others before me.

"Here at the school, my students are weary with their powers, unable to control them. I help and train them to have control, and be very powerful." He kept explaining. I nodded every few seconds to reassure i was listing.

When we entered the building, i was greeted by a man with choppy brown hair, wearing weird red glasses, and a tall, lean women with vibrant red hair and a silk red dress. They introduced them selfs, "Hi, I'm Scott Summers." The man said, shaking my hand, i quickly pulled away, i dident want any one else to get hurt. "And I'm Jean Grey, welcome..." She cut off. "Uh, Ruby" I said shaking "Nice to meet you Ruby, I've heard much about you" She said winking. What...how could she? We have only just met!

" I'll have Scott and Jean here to show you around" the Professor said.

"My pleasure" Jean said smiling.

After the grand tour, i was shown to my new room, clean clothes on the edge of my bed. I franticly sat down and did a re-cap. "ok," i thought to myself. "Im a mutant with powers, i have left a troubling past behind me, and this is my life now. At a school with others like me, learning and controlling there powers. I have met the teachers and leaders of the school, Charles Xavier, Jean Grey, Scott summers, Ororo, Hank MaCoy, and finally, Logan. There are so many more to learn, all the students. But let tomorrow bring them, for now, sleep. I washed my face, got into my sleeping ware, curled up in the sheets, and feel in a vast slumber.
