The Long Trek by M.C.

A sky so blue

The birds like glue

Laughter fills the car

As we travel far

The roads aren't boring

So we are soaring

I stare at the green sea

Full of trees

Small islands of life

With little strife

We always go forward

Yet never shoreward

Different souls

Playing different roles

The lands so bleak

Yet many adventures to seek

Love leads us forward

But never backward

We're on a quest

That won't be suppressed
