*Y/n is sitting by the counter, legs crossed and reading a magazine waiting for midnight to hit so you can close up shop.*

~Your P.O.V~
I heard the door ring as a costumer walked in, but I took no mind of it, I just wanted to go home already. So to pass the time, I continued to read and reread my magazine as the boredom practically took over my body for the day. Seconds pass and I heard giggling and I looked up briefly and did a double take as I noticed two guys wandering around the shack. I waited and waited until they actually came to the counter so I can ring up their rented movies and close up shop, but I swear on everything they're taking forever. Finally, though, they bring up their movies ("Pulp Fiction" and "The Mighty Ducks") and I couldn't help but say, "Wow, nice picks,"With a smirk. One of the guys said, "Ha, yeah." Three seconds later and the other guy said, "Did it hurt?"
"What?"
"You know, when you fell from heaven?" And he smiled at me like he just said the smoothest pick up line ever. How cliché.
"No, but it hurt when I climbed from Hell." I raised my eyebrow at them and smirked once more and they didn't know whether to smile or laugh, so they awkwardly chose both clumsily as I passed them their bag of movies. Once they left, I checked the time which read two minutes passed midnight and I quickly got my bag and locked up the shack behind me before anyone came in late, or God forbid they came back and tried a new pick up line on me..

We got out of the store and not even five seconds passed before Ethan started cracking up. I couldn't help but laugh along with him, but I had to know, "Dude, why'd you do that for?" I was half laughing with him when he told me, "I don't know man, she looked like she needed a laugh." We continued to walk back home, and I was startled when Ethan said, "Gray, why you getting cheesy?" He began nudging me playfully and I said,
"What do you mean? No I'm not."
"Oh yes you are!" And he smiled at me excitedly, then gave me a look like he had the best idea in the world, "Woah! Wait, are you into 'Film Shack Girl'?!"
"What do you mean? Nahh.." and this time I caught myself smiling..
"Okay, whatever you say Gray.."

We got home, put on "The Mighty Ducks" but for some reason I couldn't get into the movie. Ethan kept going on about how Adam Banks is a way better hockey player than Charlie Conway, and I couldn't pay attention to him. All I could think about, as corny as it sounds, actually WAS 'Film Shack Girl'. I don't know why. Just something about her.. Her dark brown hair, flowing in curls down above her elbows, her deep, deep brown eyes, her sun kissed, golden skin, her smile as she playfully rejected Ethan's "smooth" ways. Whatever it is, there's just something about her..
