"SUPRISE!!!" My family yelled as I walked through the door. "What's going on here?" I questioned the people standing in front of me. "It's your 16th birthday stupid," my mom told me. Stupid. Stupid. How could I have forgotten my own birthday. "Ohh yahh," I responded with. "Did you really forgot?" My mom asked. I said nothing. "Oh my god. You forgot your own birthday!" My mom screamed.  "What. I don't know what your talking about. I knew it was my birthday," I lied. "Sure. Sure you did," She remarked. "Anyway what am I getting for my birthday?" I asked with an excited look on my face. "Just a minute sweetie. Your father is getting your present right now." She said. Soon enough I need the sound of footsteps. "Oh. He's here," my mom said cheerfully. As my dad walked in, I saw him holding an envelope. "Here is your present my beautiful daughter," said my dad. "Thanks dad," I said back. I grabbed the envelope and started opening it up. I reached in and grabbed out 3 tickets. Plane tickets. To Montana. Isabella lives there.  "Really. We're going back so I can see her?" I said with tears welling up in my eyes. "Of course sweetie," said my mom. "You should start packing we are leaving tomorrow," my dad informed me. "Awe.  You guys are the best." I said to both my parents, "Thank you guys so much."

Today's the day. I haven't told Isabella I'm going to see her. My mom, dad and I started out with breakfast and as soon as we were done eating we hopped in the car heading towards the airport.
As we were driving down the road on a bridge another driver going the opposite way swerved into the side of the car. Just like that more than half of the car was leaning over the bridge. No. No. No. Not today. Not ever. This shouldn't be happening. As the firemen, police, and ambulance got there, they started by getting my family out of the car. I got out first because I was in the back seat. As I got out they handed me the ticket. I looked confused as both my parents were looking at me with glossy eyes. "Hey. Your going to get out of here," I said to my parents. "We love you Halli," they said.  And just like that they were gone. The car fell of the edge of the bridge. "NOO!" I cried out. They were gone. Just like that my parents were out of my world. No. Please no. I ran. As far as I can. I needed to escape this world. I ran all the way to the airport. I got on the plane and we took off for Montana. This can't be happening to me. In the news all I saw was, "Car crash on Central Bridge 2 dead, one survivor."  It's real?  No. It can't be. No. No. No. No.

We landed in Montana. I got off and left the airport. The airport was in the city she lived in so walking to her house made it easier to do . As I got to her house, I realised that she was still at school. So I sat there and waited playing on my phone. Soon enough she was there. Walking up the stairs to her room. She opened the door. There she was.  My best friend in the world was standing at the door analyzing me. I haven't seen her in years. We ran to each other and hugged. Ugh. It's nice to have my best friend back.

It's been a while, writing. But I'm back. Maybe. This summer is hectic but hopefully. Anyway. Hopefully you guys enjoy.  Peace✌
