Nothing without you

*Meg's POV*

I sighed as the plane landed in Vegas. I really didn't wanna be here, I finally made my escape to my dream place with amazing people.

I knew I really liked cameron, after that kiss at the airport my stomache has been doing cartwheels.

I pulled out my phone as I waited to get off the plane.

2 new messages.

From Mum: Kye is waking up hurry and get here x

From Cameron: I hope you got there okay, and I'm praying your brother is alright. I can't wait to see you when you get back xxx

I smiled to myself and replied to cameron.

To Cameron: thank you, I'll be back before you know it!:) xxx

I looked around and realised that it was now my turn to get off the plane. I grabbed my bag from the overhead compartment and started making my way off the plane.

It was pretty dark outside, the sky looked quite cloudy and it looked like it had been raining.

We didn't really get rain in Vegas but when we did, it was bad.

I started walking down the steps, taking in the sights around me.

Any person of my age would love to live in Vegas... Me? I want the quiet life.

After waiting for about 20 minutes my suitcase finally came out, probably the last one on the belt.

When I made my way out of the airport, I saw people rushing, running, crying.. One thing I definitely had not missed about Vegas.

I got in a cab and told the driver to go to the hospital.

It was a really anxious drive to the hospital, I was not looking forward to seeing my big brother in a hospital.

"Meg!" My mother cried as I ran into her arms in the waiting room.

"How is he?" I asked.

"He's awake now if you wanna go see him?" She asked and I nodded.

We walked down a narrow corridoor until we finally reached a room, my brother lying there hooked up to machines.

"Kye." I cried running into his arms.

"Heeeey meg!!" He yelled. I took a moment to look up at his face, the scars showing from his eyes to his neck.

"My poor brother." I sighed to myself.

My mother sat down on the chair beside the bed as she sighed nervously.

"I'm so glad you came back." Kye chuckled.

"Ofcourse, I couldn't not come see you could I?" I asked looking up at him and he smiled.

We sat and talked for about half an hour before a nurse came in and chased us out saying that he needed rest.

We made our way back to the waiting room and I pulled my phone out to see a new message.

From Cameron: hey if you get a chance, check out my new YouTube video... I have to tell you something :) xxx

I stared at the message confusingly before pulling earphones out of my bag and going onto YouTube.

I typed in his name and waited till it showed his newest video.

"My confession."

I raised my eyebrows and swallowed a deep breathe before clicking on it. His beautiful face appeared on the screen and I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey guys...

I know this isn't the type of video I usually make, but bare with me.

This isn't a bad video I promise.

It's actually really hard to say this infront of you guys and I'm really sorry, I don't want to see any of you upset or angry.. I love you all so much and you all mean a lot to me.

Okay I don't know if you know but, I recently started a new modelling project recently.. And there I made an amazing friend, meg.

Meg is currently at home due to family problems, but I just wanted to make this a message to her, to show Im thinking of her.

So here goes.

Hey meg.. Ive just got back from dropping you off at the airport as I film this.

The short time we had together was pretty amazing, and I can't wait to spend more amazing times with you.

You're such a sweet girl and you deserve nothing but happiness.

I.. I really like you, meg." He smiled before the video finnished and I looked down in astonishment.

No way did he just make a video telling me he liked me. This has not just happened?

I looked at my mother who was staring at me from the other side of the waiting room.

"What's made you so happy?" She asked and I laughed.

"Just.. Some boy." I chuckled.

"Who is this boy? Can I meet him?" She asked with a huge smile.

"Yeah, one day." I answered and couldn't help but smile to myself. I realised I had two new messages.

From Bex: omgg I just seen Cameron's new video! How amazing! X

From Cameron: I hope you liked it, It was really hard for me to make you know... Infront of the fans. But It was worth it, I feel like I let my feelings out and I can be honest :) xxx

To Bex: I know OMG!!!:) x

To cameron: I almost cried it's amazing, I can't believe you actually made a video to me. Thank you!:) xxx

I locked my phone and sat back in the chair.

Oh how I wished I was back in California with him.
