Because Jeff doesn't usually wake up till after 12, if he wakes up earlier, he won't feel the urge to eat something until after 12, because that's when he normally eats, and his body has adjusted to doing this.
(Me too. I usually don't wake up till 12-2 (2 if I've had a VERY late night writing underpasta or creepypasta or some shit) but today I've woken up at 10:20 and my dad's like "would you like something to eat" and I'm like "NO daD i'M FINe THanK YoU.")
