"I, Alpha Carson banish your from The Red Blood Pack and reject you, Sophia Jackson as my mate and future Luna."

Those words were damned. They will forever be engraved into my mind till the day I take my final breaths.

Damn the Alpha, damn the packs, damn the mates.

Alphas are power hungry if do not meet their expectations they will banish you in an instant.

As I near my favorite coffee shop I smell a strong scent that was intoxicating.

I didn't know we were making a new smoothie or maybe some kind of pastry. The scent made me nervous but safe. I couldn't put my finger on it. It was so familiar... But yet so foreign.

I walk faster to my destination at a fast pace to see what the source of the smell that made my wolf jump. As I exit the old bridge that was in the path of the other side I am lightly gripped by the arm.

The source of the hand... And the smell felt powerful. Authority radiating off of him in waves.

He wasn't an Alpha, oh no he wasn't. He was the Alpha King.

Lars Bryant

I looked up at the icy grey eyes and immediately bowed my head in submission and respect.

I may despise Alphas but disrespect The Alpha King was asking for a death wish. Such lack of obedience could lead you into public humiliation and then kill you off with the only memory of you were being whipped on a pole naked for anyone to see.

Fingers held my chin.

No sparks...

He lifted my head to look at him, I obliged hesitantly looking into his eyes.

My wolf was on cloud nine, by just talking to a person of such power.

"What may be your name?" His rough voice held the authority of an order, even if I wanted to tell a lie I couldn't.

"Sophia Jackson, your Majesty." My voice was shaky from even breathing the same air of such a rank that stands before me.

"Lars" He stated his name.

"I don't quite grasp the concept of your words Alpha Ki-"

"You will refer to me as Lars if you dare call me your King again I will not hesitate to punish you." His eyes turning black, he was angry that I disobeyed him.

As idiotic as he really did sound he was still the Alpha King. "Yes, of course, Al-Lars." I quickly corrected myself not wanting any more trouble.

His eyes returned to their normal grey color and he let go of my arm and intertwined my fingers with his.

He pulled me along with him but I stopped dead in my tracks. "I don't mean to sound rude, but I have a job that I must tend to," I say to The Alpha King keeping my head low in a slight bow to show respect.

"I don't see why you would want to go to a servants shack when you could accompany me to the palace. Why are you a rouge?"

I wanted to roll my eyes at his exaggeration of a waitress but the memories of my mate banishing me because I wasn't fit to be Luna filled my mind making me obviously down. "Well, it pays I help with my bills. If I do not attend then I fear that I may lose my place..."

"How did you become a rouge?" He questioned again using his Alpha voice making me answer him.

"My Alpha Mate rejected me so there for he banished me..."

"My love come with me to the palace?"

"Once again I have a job to attend to."

"If you do not wish to follow me willingly, I will do it for you myself." He says simply.
