Cassie's POV

Ugh, today is the day that I am supposed to go to the movies with Mark. Shouldn't I be happy?

I mean, I truly am but, just lying to Jacob my "brother" makes me feel total guilt.

I need to be tough, I am to innocent. I need to be a little on the dark side. Be a rebel!

But it just makes me feel so bad.

I get dressed into this

And I just do my casual makeup.

I head downstairs and - oh no there is Jacob! How can I even look at him without feeling guilty.

Jacobs POV

I got up in the morning and did my daily stuff like, shower, get dressed, and eat breakfast.

Then i see Cassie walk down the stairs, she looks kinda sad, I wonder what's wrong.

" Hey Cass." She gives me kind of a death glare.

"What was that for?" I say questioning her facial expressions.

She says " I'm sorry, I'm just really tired"

"So... I was going to go out today, and I wanted to know if you wanted to come with me. Like maybe a quick tour?" I say anxious to hear her answer.

" Umm, I'm really sorry Jacob, but... umm, I have an intervener friend that lives here and I really want to see her in person." She says.

" oh okay it's fine" I say as I go up to my room.

I kinda bummed, but I can't blame her. I know how it feels to meet your internet friends.

Cassie's POV

I can't believe I just lied to him, I haven't even know him that long and I still feel so bad.

He looked so sad after I said no, oh my god I feel so guilty.

Later that day

Okay, it's time for my date with mark. Im not really trying to impress him so I just wear the same thing, but I fix my makeup.

He meets me at the park and we start walking to the movies. It's only a few blocks down.

My mom knows I'm at the movies with Mark, and she knows not to tell Jacob.

Jacobs POV

I didn't know what to do now, I was so bored.

I decide to text one of my girl friends, that little space, yes notice that. Because she's just a friend.

We go to the movies, and go to sit down.

We are about half way into the movie to guy keeps trying to put his arm around this girl, I'm guessing they are on a date.

But every time he tries, a scary part comes on. And she jumps.

Wait- is that? Cassie. But who's the guy. Oh my god it mark.

"Melissa, I really have to go" I say, rushed.

She doesn't even say anything, just crosses her arms. I assume she's mad and leave.

I get home and go in my room.

Cassie's POV

The movie is over now, and I keep thinking about Jacob.

Mark kept trying to put his arm around me but I kept jumping on a scary part.

We were outside the movie theater.

Mark says " watch this"

He does a back flip of of the bench and almost falls on his face.

I laugh so hard, I almost pee myself.

"Your laugh is so cute" he says

Then it happens, he leans in. It was perfect, we were alone and everything. It was really dark.

Then my freaking phone ruins it. It Jacob, he's been nonstop texting me. He's telling me that my mom is worried and she needs me home right now.

"Mark I have to go, I'm sorry. See you tomorrow?" I say.

"Yea sure" He says.

I run home as quick as I can.
