When I get home, I realize that it was all a lie. My mom knew that I was out with Mark.

"Jacob, why did you ruin it!" I say barging into Jacobs room.

"Ruin what?" He says as he looks up from his phone at me.

"My dat-, I mean my evening!" I say.

" Cassie, I know you were in a date with mark. I saw you two at the movie theater!" He says.

"What, so are you spying on me now!"

"No, I was with. It's doesn't matter. This isn't about me it's about you!"

"Well it seems that you're not telling me the honest truth, so why should I have to?"

Three days later

Me and Jacob haven't talked in three days. Me and mark are going out again tonight. My mom, stepdad, and Jacob know.

My mom and, stepdad are fine with it. But Jacob, not so much.

But again, it's not his choice. It's mine.

Later that night

"Mark, thanks for everything, our first date was perfect and so was this one"

"No, thank you for coming on these dates with me, umm Cassie. I love you..."

"Mark, I love you too."

We kissed. And Jacob didn't ruin it this time.

He walked me home, and then he went home.
As I went to sleep all I could thing about was Jacob. Our siblings relationship was over.

And we had only been siblings for a couple weeks.
