Great just great! We could have gone anywhere and Deedee choose the beach! I wish I was at home in my laboratory! I thought as I was being shoved into the water by my older sister. "Come on dexter! Dont such a beach!" Deedee giggled out. "Unhand me DeeDee!" I screeched at her to put me down. "Aww but dexter! Why are you so tide of the sea?!" She giggled once more. "I sea what you did there DeeDee!" Mom laughed with her. "I swear I will krill-" I was about to make one of their stupid puns until I saw mandark. My enemy here. Putting on sun screen. Sitting on the bench not even 10 feet away from me.
I felt my face heat up thinking about him. My mind fantasized about him asking me out. Deedee must have noticed my stare and started stareing too. Her face went to a smirk as she looked down at me. "Ooooo you like him huh? I'M GOING TO GO TELL HIM!" "NO NO NO DEEDEE!! " I ran after the already runing towards mandark she stopped and looked at me. "Oh come on dexter this is the perfect place to tell him! With the salty air and the cool summer breeze! Oh and don't forget how romantic it is when the sun sets!" I almost puked at this. Mandark just gave her a "you're crazy" look. "I can't TELL him. Science doesn't HAVE feelings! If he thinks I have feelings then he might use them against me!" Deedee giggled "well I'm going snorkeling! Invite me to the wedding!" She said already getting her goggles on and her snorkel.
I sighed and sat back in my spot. Man dark walked up to me blushing softly. Panic filled my mind as he came up to speak to me. "Hey Dexter, could I possibly sit with you?" I blushed and nodded. So close yet so far away... After a while he looked me in the eyes, I couldn't help but look back. "Dexter I find myself getting lost in thought about you, would you like to be my b-boi- boyfriend? " He said obviously nervous. I nodded slowly at first me before smiling, "yes I'd love that." I said before hugging him. I kissed his lips softly before pulling away.
Soon me and my family had to go home, we had sand in our shoes, sand in our lunch, but one thing that the sand can't ruin is me and mandarks kiss. "Hey Dexter before you go," he kissed me quick and gave me a shell. He ran off after that, I looked at the shell only to find 'mxd' carved into it. I smiled at the shell and kept it close to me at all times.
