Winter POV
It's been 1 year since dad has been gone, mom has taken over the alliance with Uncle Xavier along with Aunt Nikki. Grandma Mira has been down ever since the incident with Grandpa Neko being in a coma, no one knows when he will wake up. Everyone fears mom, she is known as a Celestial Trinity thus gaining everyone's respect, even those who hate her guts, she has never stopped looking for dad for a second.
Aunt Val got married with Big sister Maze, It was very adorable how Big sister Maze was very shy about it, Big sister Lexi caused a big scene in the wedding party, She is hilarious.
I met Grandpa Rio and Aunt Emily, they were both socially awkward eventually they opened up more, Aunt Emily explained why Grandma Sara lives away from Grandpa Rio, which I guess it understandable. I only ever spoken to Grandma Sara over Mind-linking, she knew everything that went on but she sound so much different to what mom described her to be, kind cheerful happy, but all I felt what sadness numb and dead, Grandma Mira told that was because she still love Grandpa Rio but doesn't know what to do about it.
Then there is my twin brother, Alex. He was very distrot about our dad's disappearance just as I was, but ever since then he just numbs his emotions and acts like an ass. He is such a jerk towards me, but when it came to the girls who would bully me at school, he became some possessive beast that no one would dare defy, anyone who laid a finger on me had a death wish. Because of him I don't get picked on as much, but I also have no friends because everyone is scared of what he would do.
I'm sitting on the bench in the school yard, right next to a statue in stone with a writing engraved at the pillar......

I smile, remembering dad's last smile before he disappeared, I'm sitting here alone like always just admiring my dad's statued face. Then I hear heels against the marbled floor walking towards me, I turn to see a Mag warframe approach me.
Mag: Hi, My name is Mai, I'm a transfer.....you're Winter Titiania Yuki Skywalker, nice to meet you!
Winter: Y-yes......nice to meet you M-mai....
Mai: Let's be friend....I want to get to know you better!
Winter: .....I don't think it's a good idea th-
Mai: Why? Because you're afraid your stupid brother might scare me off...well I got news for you....he can go to hell for all I care and besides I heard from some tennos' its because of him no one can associate with you
I smiled and then started to tear up, Alex adds hell to my school life and sometimes I hate him for it. Mai suddenly hugs me and strokes my back to help me calm down.
Mai: All the more reason I wanna be your friend, actually more like your BFF
I pull away from the embrace.
Winter: Thank you
Mai: You're welcome 😊
Mai links her arms around my right arm and drags me inside the school towards my last class, walking down the hallway everyone stares at us and starts whispering.
