Chapter 2

Chapter two:

"Im hayes and this is my half sister skylynn" he said. "Ive never seen you around before, are you new in the neighborhood?"

" Uh kindof, we'r staying here for the summer" i answered. "My name is Sophia and this is my little brother Jayden." Skylynn and Jayden immediately ran off together, Jayden then touching skylynn on the shoulder and running off screaming "YOU'RE IIT!"

Hayes and i laughed. Hayes was really cute and had intense blue eyes, the kind of eyes i get lost in.

He had a black tank top on and i could see his arms were pretty fit too. And his voice....god his voice was hot! Oh my god he was so dreamy...

"....so, friday night?" he asked.

I nodded. But then i realized i had no idea what he was talking about.

"Wait, what's going on friday night again?" i asked trying to not sound so stupid.

He laughed softly, "Its my birthday, June 8th, and I'm inviting you to my house. Its gonna be me and a couple friends, you'll be the only girl though, is that okay?"

"Sure, no problem" that made me feel special

"Can i have your number?" he asked. I didn't say anything. "Never mind, ill give you mine" so instead, i gave him my phone and he quickly typed it in.

We went to go and breakup the fight between Jayden and Skylynn who couldn't decide who had tagged the other first and we all went home.

Jayden looked back to see they had already gone inside their house and out of nowhere.."IYA LIKES HAYES! IYA LIKES HAYES!"

"Jayden please stop. If mom hears you, you don't get Elmo for the rest of the summer!" so, he shut up.

But i did kind of feel like he was right. maybe i did like the boy. Thinking of him gave me butterflies and i thought of texting him a lot, but i didn't want to be annoying.

* thursday morning*

I had just finished getting dressed when i heard my phone ring. My parents had bought me a card so i could use my phone for the summer. I put the blow drier down and ran to my bedside table where my phone was charging. It said Hayes Grier!

I unplugged it and answered. I smiled then bit my lip nervously.

" Hello?"

"Hi, i was wondering if i could come over...uh I'm bored"

"Um yeah sure" i had this big creepy smile going on. Thank god he couldn't see me.

" Kay ill be there in 5" he said

I hing up. "Mom! hayes is coming over!" I yelled.

"Who's Hayes?"

Right, i forgot she didn't know. But i had no time to explain, i wasn't ready yet.

"Um i'll tell you later"

I finished doing my hair and mascara when the door bell rang.

DING DONG

I ran downstairs and opened the door.

"Hey!" i smiled at him. He smiled back.

"Woah, this house is awesome!" he looked around.

"Yeah, i wish i lived here." i looked down and imagined what it would be like.

We went upstairs and watched

on my laptop. When it ended his phone beeped.

"Its my mom, she says Nash wants me to meet me at the mall for something...probably my birthday present." He chuckled. " I have to go, i had a really nice time" He came up to me and hugged me. Wow it felt good.

"See you tomorrow" he said with a smirk.

What just happened?
